L'Alfa Brera is powered by a V6 Arese same as actual Alfa GTA.

HFV6 "modificata" is NOT use in the Alfa car !!!

Certainly, Alfa never use the HFV6.

sì ma dai...un conto è canare i nr dei cv sul comunicato ufficiale,magari per depistare un po' la concorrenza...ma sbagliare anche a scrivere il propulsore...è eccessivo...c'è scritto chiaro che sarà un 3.2 jts...non è il busso, il busso è fuori produzione...

Un collega, anch'egli alfista d'antan, mi giura di aver visto una Brera nera. Il tempo di chiamarmi alla finestra era già un puntolino irriconoscibile. Per me poteva essere una 147, magari GTA, ma lui afferma di aver focalizato il lunotto a punta sul marchio e gli scarichi.

Alfa Romeo has discontinued production of V6 "Busso" engines in October 2004. The remaining stocks are intended to fill orders for GT model until a perspective but yet not approved re-styling of GT model will replace present line in 2007.

V6 engines mounted on project 939 and Brera are JTS direct injection units designed purposely for next generation models and share with GM the basement section and few minor parts.

Given you're info is half right - Busso are out of question - now, please, give us more insight on the other half. What engines would 939/159 and Brera be powered by? Isuzu?

Please, give us a break. If you're serious and think you've got some real informations, then explain thoroughly, otherwise, cut the crap with it, ok.

well, what can i say...we'll see...i hope in the v6 arese, the busso is the king of all the v6, and whit 260cv it can be wonderfull,but all the press and the insider too know that the new v6 will be jts and not busso...so i can do nothing if not wait for geneve...
