diciamo che nell'ultimo mese me ne sono capitati un pò di prototipini: Ducato vicino casa, Brera a Malpensa e lunedi 3 159 sulla Canosa Napoli. Sono riuscito però a fotografare solo queste. Mi spiace. Cmq posso garantire che il posteriore della brera (molto largo) rende meglio dal vivo che in foto, così come il frontale della 159 molto + cattivo dal vivo che in foto.

I just spoke to the dealer that I bought my GT from regarding my car, then asked him if he had any info about the Brera. It seems that Alfa Romeo Marketing has supplied the dealers with nothing whatsoever. He was quitefrustrated actually becuase it seems that the appearances of Brera in the media have taken everyone's eye off the rest of the Alfa range. Almost all the enquiries he's had have been about the Brera. His exact words were : "If I could get my hands on the Alfa marketing dept, I'd throttle them".

At least he should be able to sell them once they've arrived. I filled him in on some of the details I saw/found out at the Goodwood festival and he seemed a bit happier.

I can't believe the dealer network is not being given the info they need before new model info goes to the media. That's just madness.

sakis, the "no news" situation for FIAT/ALFA/LANCIA dealerships is really no news to them.. (little play of words, sorry)

when i went out here (germany) in search of some possibility to testdrive the new croma prior to the official launch, the dealers didn't even know WHEN their, months back, ordered cars were to arrive. Some of them didn't know when that famous "official launch" should be and told something about "next month". And apart from that little brochure with nice fotos of the croma they hadn't even received ANY information from Fiat regarding the car...

the best thing is that IT WAS 1 WEEK BEFORE THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH IN GERMANY...

Whilst the sales network in Italy seems to be in acceptable shape and largely under control, Fiat dependencies in other countries are a shame (with the exeption of Austria, which seems to do well).

Crappy dealerships with badly trained personell, national headquaters in total chaos with bosses beeing kicked out and replaced almost monthly and obviously inexistant public relations departments...

there has been no advertising for croma until 1 week before the launch, when some spots were broadcast on two o three minor german tv-networks. Since the launch of croma total silence has returned and there has been no further promotion of croma on television or radio.

so, sakis, the situation at your local alfa dealer you describe is normal. (for fiat outside italy)
