V8 Maserati sulla Brera??????

i read an article of jiancarlo perini...he says....The new maserati coupe/spyder projects of pinifarina-Giougiaro have been rejected and the new coupe/spyder will be based in 159's premium platform and not quattroporte's platform...Also 169 will be based in premium platform and not in maserati's rwd platform!Is that true?

I don't know the answer.

But I know that Premium platform cab be suited for rwd and is very appreciated for its perfomances... so this choice is not a real problem.

169 will be based on premium platform and it SHOULD be rwd... it's always been the original project to my knwoledge.

I have no news on maserati's new gt platform, I doubt it's going to be based on the premium platform, but at this stage I quit having expectations or speculations on the matter. Everything is so volatile...

Using the premium platform for new Maserati Gt/spyder, instead of Quattroporte platform, will allow to Fiat Auto to save a lot of money and to increase the profitable ratio for each product car. In these times saving money for Fiat auto is mandatory.

Ragazzi io troverei drammatico se usassero il telaio Premium anche per le prossime Maserati.

Potete dirmi fino alla nausea che Premium è un ottimo telaio... ma quello della presente Quattroporte è eccellente, senza mezzi termini!

Maserati ha la piattaforma della 4porte,è costata un casino,ci hanno sviluppato il coupè e lo Spyder del 2006/2007....il vero spreco sarebbe abbandonarla

Sì però il Premium costa meno ed è modulabile.. cosiccome la trazione integrale è stata sviluppata per questo pianale e riconvertire LM139 al 4x4 sarebbe sicuramente più costoso e non si potrebbe cmq derivarne la Kamal

Kalbfell ha dichiarato 3/2005 al salone di Ginevra, davanti ai giornalisti austriaci della rivista "Autorevue", che non ci saranno Maserati con un telai Alfa Romeo.
