156 don't use double wishbone in the front suspension...Is that true?

They are using Μcpherson in the Front.The departement of marketing choose the name double wishbone in order to impress despite the first generation of 156 was called ''quadrilatero deformabile''....it is sth more better than mcpherson,simiral because it leaves space for engines for transerse engines but not double wishbone.

What about 159?

tripcoputer, vano refrigerato, attacchi isofix, modanature in alluminio e un sacco di altre cosette tutte a pagamento sulla concorrenza...

Puo' essere ma 159 si paragona alla sua concorrenza ( Audi, BMW, MB ) non a 199.

E questa attualmente non li ha tutti di serie.

Se poi tali accessori li avra' anche 199, tanto meglio.

What about 159?

i don't understand you first of all 156147/GT use double wishbone,high double wishbone to be precise and their suspensioni has nothing to do with mcpherson.....quadrilatero is the italian name for double wishbone there are two types of double wishbones the high(alto in italian) like that in use by 156 and the normal or low like that in use by maserati quattroporte.

Hai ragione mi sono dimenticato di cancellarla...in effetti danno proprio un plus nell'acquisto di un auto.

the 156 front suspension is a high double wishbone...the rest is ridiculous...if you can't understand in what consists a double wishbone and why alfa is a double wishbone and a mcpherson not what to say...is clear even from your images that alfa suspension has two wishbones....the mcpherson has one...mcpherson or wishbone suspension is the suspension with one wishbone under...without a top wishbone..every suspension has two wishbone and could be many different types many more than those you show is a double wishbone cause has two wishbones.

What's the difference between low and high double wishbone or maybe their usage?
