Small platfrom has been co-developed with opel or it is only Fiat's R&D?

The small platform born under Fiat Auto specs but GM entered in the project in order to cut cost's.....80% of the engineers were fiat auto and 20% GM.

At the Wikipedia page for Fiat Punto it says that:

the car is based on the Fiat/GM "Small" platform (a new version of GM Gamma platform)
And on the Wikipedia page for the GM Gamma platform it says that:
The architecture was developed by Opel in Germany and was based on the Opel Corsa.

(...)

A new version of the Gamma platform, dubbed SCCS (Small Common Components and Systems), is being codeveloped since 2002 by a team of Fiat and Opel engineers located in Turin. The platform will be shared across 2006 Fiat Punto, 2007 Opel/Vauxhall/Chevrolet Corsa and future Fiat Idea, Lancia Ypsilon and Lancia Musa. Even after the dissolution of the GM/Fiat partnership, both companies retain the rights to continue developing SCCS-derived models.

Is the "new version of the Gamma platform" in any way related to the old GM Gamma platform which was supposedly based on the Opel Corsa? Or is it new from the ground-up, and for the most part constructed by Fiat? (Or are there perhaps errors in these Wikipedia articles?)

That's wrong...Gamma was a project Gm initiated before join Fiat's small platform for the Corsa successor...Small(SCCS) project is another project that begins in 1999 immediately after the launch of the Punto II for an all new floorpan for the b-segment Fiat Auto car way before Fiat-GM alliance in march 2000 and draws back to technologies applied to the cancelled fiat small project mini(some maybe remember it a car to complete the gap between punto and 600/500 that was canceled cause would cost as punto to produce)....GM join in 2002 the Fiat project that was initiated 3 years before....even after these 80% of the staff that made the development of the floorpan from 2002 was Fiat Auto's.The new small floorpan is a dualframe floorpan and dualframe is a technology patented by Fiat research center(CRF).
