L'unica certezza riguardante la collaborazione tra il gruppo fiat e chery sono i 4 cilindri per la Linea e per i modelli studiati, sviluppati e destinati ai mercati africani, asiatici, mediorientali, est-europei e centrosudamericani e che in qualche misura potranno avere una certa distribuzione anche in europa.

Centro e Sud America no, li verranno montati i new Torque 1.6 e 1.8 prodotti a Cordoba

no select, l'accordo, o meglio UN ACCORDO, con Chery c'è ed è quello riguardo ai motori 4L x la Linea. PUNTO!!!

Il resto sono esercitazioni di federica... perchè anche GM è ancora coinvolta con i suoi V6 ergo si può dire di tutto e d+ ma NON SI PUO' DIRE CHE ALFA MONTERA' 6 CILINDRI PROGETTATI E SVILUPPATI DA CHERY E GIA' ESISTENTI OGGI...

però la cosa strana è che se è vero quello che si dice in giro e cioè che i V6 holden non verranno più montati nel 2008/9(?) com'è che ancora oggi non hanno preso alcuna decisione per la sostituzione?.........cioè per progettare un V6 non credo che ci voglia poco quindi o si comprano e si modificano oppure si allunga il termine della fornitura degli holden

giusto. Perchè, parliamoci chiaro, se i motori li produrrà la CHERY non vorrete farci credere che realizzeranno una linea specifica per noi dato che hanno i loro . Questo è fuori da ogni logica industriale, logico è supporre che sarà un accordo simil GM. Però và anche detto che mi pare impossibile che siano dei V6 a 90gradi.

Chery says Nanjing Fiat aint worth it

Published April 15th, 2007 in Chinese Car News, Chery Automobile and Nanjing Automobile Corporation.

Now that Chery and Nanjing Fiat have admitted to holding talks with each other (it was a bit of a secret relationship for a while) Chery seem to have come out and said they are willing to spend a maximum of 15 billion RMB for upto 50% of the Fiat-Nanjing autos joint venture agreement, however, Chery has said ‘It aint worth no 15 billion RMB, fool’ or Chinese words to that effect.

Chinese press are also saying that there is a chance that the agreement will go through - Chery will help Nanjing Fiat with production, but also - produce Alfa Romeo vehicles here in China. Alfa Romeos were always imported into China, and usually with a large price tag which probably doesn’t help their sales at all in China. China Car Times estimates Alfa Sales to be floating around the low hundreds per year. The plan being shown by the Chinese press is to make Alfa’s in China, and export them back to Europe.

Alfa Romeo "made in Cina" e rivenderla in Europa !!!! E dire che in Italia c'è 2 500 000 di disoccupati .

Spero che Marchione non farà come la Renault quando hanno comprato la Samsung Motor --> al inizio era per produire le Renault per il mercato locale...poi hanno annunciato di produire il futuro Renault SUV "Premium" in Corea .

Se gli Cinesi non hanno assai soldi per comprare il "made in Italy" , allora che compronno altra cosa .

Fiat group will be expanding its operations in China with the latest confirmation that it will be building its Alfa Romeo 159 saloon in China. The cars will be built under the recently formed joint-venture between Fiat and China’s Chery Auto, with production tipped to start in Chery’s plant in Wuhu just outside of Shanghai. The announcement comes from several Alfa execs who spoke recently with Automotive News, revealing that roughly 30,000 to 35,000 cars will be manufactured starting in 2009.

Earlier this month, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne revealed that the Italian giant was in talks with Chery surrounding a possible deal to build Alfas but until now there was no mention of which models would be produced.

Despite rising demand for Alfa Romeos in China, production is still at least two years away and according to Marchionne, the talks are yet to be finalized. He added that the Chinese built Alfas must have the high levels of quality expected from a premium brand and that it would take some time to iron out the bugs.

The other major hurdle is to find a supplier either in China or outside that is willing to build quality components for Alfa’s Chinese operations. Fiat originally hoped to build the previous 156 sedan in China but had to drop its plans due to a lack of suitable suppliers. The reason is that it’s more lucrative for the suppliers to sell the parts to western countries where Alfa Romeo models are sold.

Diciamo la verità assieme alla B junior per l'Italia quello di vendere le alfa in cina e in usa è l'unico modo per arrivare alla fatidica quota-soppravivenza per alfa di 300.000 auto l'anno prospettata da marchionne.

Anche una casa premium come audi fa numeri alti anche grazie alla Cina che mi pare sia il suo secondo mercato dopo la germania e non con la a3 tdi....ma con la a6 limousine.

A dire il vero come ripeto da 2-3 anni cmq l'auto italiana che vedrei meglio in cina sarebbe la thesis passo lungo, cmq 159 E brera sono già stata premiate dai cinesi come auto più belle del mondo per la loro categoria!!
