Giusto per continuare con i nomi strani, se l'attuale SUV si chiama Antara, la versione più grossa potevano chiamarla Pikachu... :D:D:D

Non mi pare, sicuramente non negli ultimi decenni...:?

Invece è un ennesimo caso di "riciclaggio" questo nome. Già ad inizio anni settanta era esistita un'ammiraglia Opel con quel nome, posizionata come fascia di mercato al di sopra dell'onnipresente Rekord. Per la cronaca, si trattava di una famiglia di ammiraglie in sostanza identiche come carrozzeria, con poche varianti a livello di dettagli e differenze per lo più su allestimenti e motori. Si trattava della serie Diplomat / Admiral.

Tornando a noi...ma la notizia è sicura o e solo una congettura?

io riporto un mio vecchio messaggio che ho posizionato nella discussione vectra /insigna. Avevo deciso di non aprire un altra discussione visto che erano notizie embrionali

secondo ultime notizie il prototipo insignia potrebbe dare alla luce la futura opel omega che non sara quindi una berlina convenzionale ma eventualmente un cross-over.Nulla è ancorà deciso anche se vi sono fitti colloqui interni alla GM che coinvolgerebberò la opel e la Holden, in quanto quest'ultima sarebbe incaricata di svolgere buona parte del lavoro di progettazione e pure di produzione. Il problema pare nascere dal fatto che il marchio australiano deve portare a termine al più presto i progetti relativi alla camaro e impala e quindi avrebbe delle difficoltà a sviluppare un ennesimo prodotto sulla sua piattaforma ZETA ,anche perchè è imminente la partenza dello sviluppo dei modelli futuri della propria gamma.La situazione pare quindi molto fluida.

... Le Alfa del futuro, Mazda a parte, dovrebbero essere ingegnerizzate là. Ma io dovrei comprare un'Alfa fatta dagli ingegneri della Chrysler ?

ho detto una menata.. la diplomat era una dodge, in pratica una di quelle auto (come ad es. le ford) tutte quadrate che avevano i poliziotti in borghese dei telefilms tipo chips o simili . Di solito erano tinta nocciola...
