Come mai su 500L USA e Dart il TCT viene chiamato C633 (visto su diverse schede tecniche dei concessionari e pure sul sito ufficiale Chrysler) ?

E' un cambio effettivamente diverso dal C635 europeo?

I think it's a mistake. As Dodge Dart owner I can say that in all documents and in the service manual the name of the gearbox is C635 Six-Speed Manual or C635 Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDCT)

Anyway, American C635 gearbox is the same as European, the difference is in gear ratios only. The main differences between 1.4 Multiair Turbo is different fuel feeding system. There are a lot of FIAT Ricambi Originali parts (I mean with a stamp) in the engine compartment

It could be a mistake, but even Petronas call it C633 ( http://flcf.onion.it/commonfile/ITA/pdf/1402_scat_ITA.pdf )

And in some papers from Discom GmbH (a german company that develops acoustic analysis systems for the automotive industry, including Fiat's transmissions) I saw references to a transmission called C633.6.35, but without further informations.

Se non sbaglio il C725 DDCT a 7 marce è già in produzione in Cina presso Haveco (jv tra Fiat, GAC e Hangzhou Gearbox), commercializzato col nome "Dual Dryve" (gioco di parole dry-drive) e montato sulla Fiat Ottimo.

From what I know, C725 DDCT 7-speed transmission is currently built in China by Haveco (a jv between Fiat, GAC and Hanghzou Gearbox), it's marketed under "Dual Dryve" name and used in the Fiat Ottimo.

Maybe somebody wrote the "short" version of the name... "C...6.35" instead of the beginning "C633"???

Sì, ma la Fiat ne propone versioni più potenti, fino a 95 cavalli…

Diciamo che ci penseremo. Probabilmente i responsabili commerciali europei sarebbero felici di allargare la gamma, ma non siamo convinti che il gioco valga la candela… A proposito degli accordi con il gruppo FCA, aggiungiamo una nota a quanto detto dai responsabili Suzuki. Pare certo (anche se non è stato ancora ufficializzato) che nel 2015 verrà adottato anche il cambio robotizzato a doppia frizione TCT, già montato su alcune Alfa Romeo. Il debutto è previsto proprio sulla Vitara, nella versione 1.6 diesel.
