Future Alfa 159 (Giulia) will be smaller than the current 159 by about 200mm. It will have RWD and a dashboard inspired by the 8C if the safety homologations allow the metal switches. Stylistically it should have twin round headlamps and a Giulia tail.

GT and a Spider (surprise model) will both use the new generation 159 platform with RWD.

MiTo GTA is already testing in Balocco - very fast. Twin Turbo, higher output than 230bhp. At the moment its pushing 270-280bhp. Will probably enter production at around about 260bhp.

149 will be a drivers car, but FWD like the Bravo / Delta.

Kamal will basically use the "old" 159 Sportwagon Q4 platform in order to get the most out of the Premium floorpan.

169 is a long way off, although signed off. Maybe a Jaguar platform.

Giulia, new GT, Spider and Fulvia are sharing a new rear-drive platform, and 149 underpinnings will be used for next-gen Fiat and Lancia C-segments.

At a training at the Nürburgring, some dealers got informed about Alfas plans until 2011: 9 new models:

September 08 MiTo

September 09 MiTo GTA

September 09 149 (GTA is planned, no details yet)

End of 2010 159 successor (lighter, size more towards the 156)

End of 2010 Kamal, the SUV (size slightly below the X3)

End of 2011 169 (RWD, possibly Quattroporte plattform, 3.0 diesel)

End of 2011 GT successor

End of 2010 or 2011 Surprise model (100 years Alfa Romeo)

So confirmation about the early 159 successor! Unfortunately no info about FWD/RWD.

Io credo molto agli insiders che ad italiaspeed...

Non hanno messo né duetto, né 947 sprint (neanche come "probabile").....

Senza contare che ormai sapranno anche le oche che la 944 userà il pianale C-Evo, era anche su autoblog...per cui, se finisce lì....vuol dire che lo sanno praticamente tutti.

Mmmmh... Probabilmente hanno visto un mulo di 944 (che non esiste...) in retromarcia e l'hanno misurato dopo che ha cozzato contro un muro di cinta...
