As a result of the positive feedback from prospective clients and following technical analysis and consultation with our strategic suppliers Williams International it has been decided to also offer the option of all-wheel-drive for the MF1 two-seater model and conversely to offer the option of rear-wheel-drive for the MF1 three-seater model.

Therefore, the MF1 range now consists of one three-seater (treposti) and one two-seater (dueposti) model, each available with either AWD or RWD:

MF1

430+ km/h _ 270+ mph

1 kg/hp _ 1 000 hp/ton or better

rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive

selectable left-hand and right-hand drive

optional armoured protection

Far from being a simple marketing operation this decision entails the re-engineering of the coupling of the gas turbine engine and its transmission with the differential(s) and is accompanied by modifications to the overall "packaging". Incidentally, the already considerable capacity of the fuel tank is now further increased.

In fact, it is reminded that in order to maintain reasonably compact dimensions the two MF1 models share the same wheelbase and although they do have a similar mid-engine configuration their mechanical layout is inevitably different.

A weight advantage is obviously anticipated for the rwd versions of both the treposti and the dueposti vis-a-vis the awd versions of either the treposti or the dueposti. By the way, all four permutations of the two MF1 models are logically expected to improve on our originally set target of 1 kg/hp - 1 000 hp/ton.

Overall production is always set at 199 units comprising all MF1 models and permutations, without any predetermined limit for each one of them.

The price for the MF1 is set at €675 000, regardless of the choice of model and permutation. A provisional allocation of chassis numbers has been in effect since last February, when we received our first order.

After the complete unveiling of the cars and their specification, a 20% deposit will be required in order to secure a final chassis number / delivery position. First deliveries are scheduled for 2008. Six months prior to the exact date of delivery a further 60% payment will be required, with the final 20% due upon delivery.

Final chassis numbers and delivery contracts are freely transferable at any stage yet all amounts are non-refundable for any reason other than the improbable non-delivery of a car by Project 1221.

Ferrari raised eyebrows in Maranello by running this modified Enzo supercar around the company’s Fiorano test track. Additional front air intakes, a heavily revised rear end and relocated exhaust outlets distinguish the car from the version Ferrari ceased building in 2004.

Speculation—based in part on the revised rear end and the flames seen licking from the exhaust during testing—suggests a car with an engine more powerful and larger than the original’s 6.0-liter, 660-hp V12, possibly a 6.5- or 6.8-liter V12.

Does this indicate Ferrari may assemble more Enzos in addition to the produced tally of 399? Don’t count on it, says our Ferrari insider, who tells us the car is merely part of Ferrari’s standard technology development program and is from the original batch of production Enzos.

e di qui si capisce quale è la reale funzione della fuoriserie lanciata in 29 esemplari che onestamente io almeno faticavo a capire

dovrebbe arrivare nel 2008 e dovrebbe approssimativamente seguire il filone f40-f50.... forse si chiamerà appunto f60 cui probabilmente si affiancherà il nome... millemiglia perchè a quella DATA ricorrerà il 60mo anniversario della prima vera e prestigiosa vittoria della ferrari... che fu appunto alla millemiglia

bè dovrebbe approssimativamente essere quello della fxx quindi 6.3 da 800 cv ma il tutto raffinato al punto da poter essere omologata su strada... cosa che per la fxx non è possibile

Di certo non sarà come in questa foto ma communque siamo nel 2007, 60 anni! A 40 c'e stata la F40, a 50 la F50 e ora a 60 ci puo essere solo questa F60!
