Ferrari 599 GTO (Spy)

visto venerdì telaio 599 in produzione con la sigla GTO... sta arrivando!!

Peculiarità estetiche GTO (nome ufficiale)

1. The GTO louvered hood have 4 vents (2 on each side) vs the 2 vents on the GTB. The 599XX have 6 vents.

2. The GTO side vents below the headlights are a little smaller than the XX but bigger than the GTB.

3. Center air intake looks like the XX without the grill. In place of it is a mesh instead.

4. The air intake on the GTO sideskirts are much larger than the one in the GTB. Much like the XX but without the Carbon fiber scoop.

5. The GTO sideskirt design is more perpendicular to the ground just like the XX but without the CF bottom piece.

6. The GTO rear bumper doesn’t have the ridge on each side of the lic. plates area like the one in the GTB. Instead it’s just a flat surface.

7. The GTO rear bumper features the side vents on each side unique to this model.

8. Bigger rear diffuser area which now goes across the full length of the rear bumper.

Suppose to be limited production. 675 approx bhp V12, 60ms transmission change, 0-60 in 3.3 sec and 217 mph top speed. Already was shown to select european clients during a private viewing. Rumored to officially be unveiled in Beijing in April. (7th?)

vedendo questo photoshop e visto che la posizione in cui l'ho individuata era la stessa, posso dire che effettivamente era lei a Vallelunga. Solo a vista e da quanto ricordo, presa d'aria più grande (quella sul fianco davanti alle ruote posteriori) e appendici aerodinamiche ancora più vistose al posteriore. Ripeto che purtroppo il box era semibuio e la vettura nascosta sotto un telone che lasciava parzialmente scoperta solo la generosissima gomma posteriore e appunto l'alettatura inferiore dopo il passaruota. Cerchioni scuri, forse neri.

Io ne ho vista una rossa ferma lungo la pista del Balocco qualche giorno fa (la parte che si intravede dalla strada) ma non sono riuscito a capire se aveva prese d'aria differenti dalla 599 normale. (ps. c'era pure un hummer verde che girava ...)
