beh lo spero per la reputazione viper che è sempre stata così affascinante perchè così diversa dalle europee.. tuttavia una base in comune con la nuova 8C non mi sarebbe dispiaciuta.. infondo una è una vipera l'altra un biscione

Beh,l'uso del pianale dell'attuale quattroporte/GT/8C era logico, ma però si sapeva che il suo utilizzo avrebbe fatto schizzare verso l'alto i costi di produzione.

Il V10 da quello che si sente verrà abbandonato in favore dell'Hemi biturbo...

The Dodge Viper has always been an impressive looking vehicle, but its muscled lines haven't ever been what we'd call feminine. That may change with the next-generation version of the Snake. Ralph Gilles, head of Chrysler design and the Dodge brand, says that the look of the next Dodge Viper will be inspired by "a naked woman on the beach."

Sorry, but we're having a hard time coming up with a witty quip after that one (well, other than the one in the headline).

Gilles made the announcement while speaking with reporters at the Automotive News World Conference, and while the revelation about the vehicle's design inspiration was a big highlight, he also announced that the next Viper would take dead aim at stealing buyers away from both the Porsche brand and the Chevrolet Corvette. That's especially true when it comes to the crowd of younger buyers – guys and girls under 45.

The next-generation Viper is set to debut in 2013, and while that gives Dodge plenty of time to get the car right, we don't expect either Porsche or Chevrolet to sit back and allow the Viper to play catch up. Suddenly we're very excited to see what the sports car world looks like in two years.

ho paura che l'aggiunta di un paio di tette siano d'impaccio per il cx :/ in compenso sono molto incuriosito dai due sfoghi che dovrebbe avere al posteriore

Cmq nella parte dello sviluppo, nella componentistica ed in alcuni accorgimenti si vedrà la mano italiana..

mhh.....pianale suo e non condiviso con le modenesi...

potrebbero ammortizzarlo maggiormente utilizzandolo anche per altre cose magari più economiche viste le misure non esagerate......

Although roughly a year away from launch, Chrysler has published the very first official photo of a development mule of the next generation Dodge Viper undergoing testing in the snow. The prototype mule is based on the now obsolete 2010 Viper that was discontinued in the summer of 2010.

Not surprisingly, the Auburn Hills-based automaker released very few details on its upcoming high-performance sports car as the only piece of information we get is that “SRT engineers expanded the development scope for the next generation Dodge Viper to include stability control tuning for the first time.”

Earlier this year, Ralph Gilles, who heads Chrysler’s design division and is also the boss of the Dodge brand, said that the new 2013 Viper will be “drop-dead beautiful” with the styling inspired by “a naked woman on the beach”. According to Gilles, the next Viper will draw customers from Porsche and GM's Corvette.

potrebbero ammortizzarlo maggiormente utilizzandolo anche per altre cose magari più economiche viste le misure non esagerate......

Io l'avevo anticipato alcune settimane fa, e' in corso un studio di fattibilita' per l'alfa spider su base viper, del resto le misure del pianale Viper(passo 2510mm) sarebbero compatibili per una rivale di Z4(passo 2496mm).

magari....

sai che motore monterà la nuova Viper?
