Non capisco l'olandese se questa sostituirà dopo solo 2 anni la corolla verso attuale o se si posizionerà più in alto e avrà 7 posti??

Inoltre forse verrà prodotta in turchia??...ma ripeto nn so l'olandese.

Pur non dicendo niente di nuovo da un impressione di solidità,giuste proporzioni e finitura buona un pò come in un segmento inferiore l'idea...

Un auto simile a questa toyota con marchio fiat sarebbe proprio un auto che potrebbe rilanciare fiat oltre i segmenti A-B peccato che la new-monovolume arriverà fra 3 anni..

parlando di "compleet nieuwe Corolla Verso", credo che sostituirà quella attuale.

Peraltro l'attuale Verso non è basata sulla nuova corolla ma è un restyling della monovolume media che esisteva già all'epoca della precedente corolla. Si chiamava Spacio e veniva venduta solo in Giappone.

Nemmeno io so l'olandese, comunque mi pare che dica che avendo sette posti potrà concorrere con Zafira, Touran e Scénic e che verrà prodotta in turchia insieme alla wagon e alla sedan. La 2volumi invece viene fabbricata in inghilterra

Toyota introduces the all-new Corolla Verso

The new Toyota uses design, modularity and quality to attract a broader range of C-segment MPV buyers. Toyota expects to sell 62,000 units in 2004, with sales scheduled to start in May across Europe.

The new-generation Toyota Corolla Verso is a totally new car. This vehicle represents an entirely new philosophy - a complete "out of the box" way of thinking has been adopted by Toyota's designers and engineers to bring to its customers a passenger car that will defy conventions.

Further to the successful introduction of Yaris, Corolla and Avensis, the all-new Corolla Verso represents the latest expression of Toyota's commitment to the European market. Its "raison d'être" is the new type of customers it intends to attract: active adults who live their lives to the full and are looking for something more special than just another family car.

Toyota expects to sell 62,000 units of this model throughout 2004. Sales are scheduled to start in May across Europe.

Dynamic design

Toyota's European design studio (ED2) was in charge of the new Corolla Verso's exterior style. The chief designer of this project, Elvio D'Aprile, explains that the exterior design is formed by two entities. The lower part, comprised by the underbumper, wheel arches and rocker panel, is massive and robust, influenced by SUV design elements. The upper part provides a dynamic stance, characterized by the curved roof and third quarter window. Above all, the dynamic appearance of the new Toyota Corolla Verso is meant to be up to the level of its driving performance.

The familiar Toyota bulge on the bonnet becomes even more pronounced. The typical shape of the triangle quarter window and the rear lamps with "inverted L" shape also express Toyota's design identity. In addition, the new Corolla Verso integrates the front bumper and grille into a single part and the hood is placed as far backward as possible - this not only achieves a better integration, but also provides improved pedestrian protection.

Intelligent versatility

The new Corolla Verso can accommodate up to 7 people. In addition, all the 5 rear seats can be flat folded, creating a completely flat cargo space, without the need of removing any seat from the interior.

The new Corolla Verso's flat-folding system is the simplest to operate in the market: with only one operation it is possible to fold down each rear seat. The seats are also the lightest you can find in the segment, which makes the operation even easier and possible for more people.

Quality is in the details

The fit, finish and quality of the materials used in the interior of the new Toyota Corolla Verso are yet more examples of Toyota's superior quality philosophy.

The interior has been given geometric, three-dimensional lines to confer the thingypit a well-defined arch-like form. A combination of metallic finishes has been incorporated to accent the centre cluster and display a high-quality and high-tech appearance. Gap and clearance between some components have been reduced by 90% and 40% respectively. These improvements in fit and finish give the cabin a more flush and quality look.

Extensive work was also done to improve the feeling when closing the door of the new Corolla Verso. As a result, an optimum placement was defined for the door hinges and an air-tight seal was installed in the locking section. In addition, new door locks for both front and rear doors and the use of anti-vibration materials, strategically placed, provide a sound and feel for the door-closing that will please passengers from the first instant.

A world-class production facility

Following Toyota's policy of manufacturing cars in Europe for European customers, the new Toyota Corolla Verso will now be produced at TMMT - Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey. This modern facility already produces the Corolla Wagon and Corolla Sedan that are sold in Europe, while Corolla Hatchback is manufactured in the United Kingdom by TMUK - Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK. With the addition of the new Corolla Verso, all Corolla bodytypes for the European market will therefore be produced in Europe.

Autoweek parla di maggio... prima di quanto pensassi. Pensate che ho prenotato una prova di quella attuale per venerdì prossimo, ma quasi quasi disdico per dire che aspetterò la nuova. Questa è bellissima, quasi quasi la preferisco alla Grand Scenic e la Zafira. Se considerate che il prezzo attuale per la D-4D Sol è di poco superiore ai 21000€, non credo che col motore da 116cv e configurazione 7 posti andrà oltre i 23000. Ci farò un pensierino. E non dimenticatevi i 5 anni di garanzia :wink:

Sicuramente la nuova Verso è meglio di Zafira (vettura assolutamente ammorbante alla vista e alla guida, ti posso assicurare visto che l'ho utilizzata più volte) e - almeno in foto - più equilibrata di Grand Scenic....Peccato solo che 'sti giapponesi ti ammazzano il modello nel corso di tre anni...ovvero il tuo usato al terzo anno non varrà niente...

Devo dirti che ero indirizzato verso la Stilo Multiwagon ma una serie di fattori mi hanno orientato negli ultimi tempi verso altri prodotti.

Il primo è che per le mie esigenze un monovolume si adatta maggiormente. Viaggiando spesso in cinque, il passeggero che siede al centro dietro risulta svantaggiato nel sedersi all'interno di una berlina (come quella che adesso ho) o di una station wagon, mentre la soluzione preferibile sarebbero i tre sedili separati. E ancor più mi sono reso conto che un sesto e settimo posto all'occorrenza mi serve sempre più spesso. Quindi ho paura che mi devo orientare su monovolumi e se possibile con 7 posti, quindi attualmente Grand Scenic e Zafira e adesso pure Corolla. E ripeto, poca lungimiranza da parte del gruppo italiano nell'aver abbandonato il progetto Stilo MPV per poi riprenderlo nel 2007. Solo che io non posso aspettare. L'unico punto a favore delle familiari e contro le monovolume è la differenza di prezzo a volte abissale. :cry:

Al prossimo Salone di Ginevra, Toyota presenterà Corolla Verso, ovvero la versione monovolume dell’intramontabile compatta giapponese. Un modello completamente nuovo che punta su design, modularità e qualità per attrarre una gamma di clienti sempre più ampia nell’agguerrito segmento delle multispazio.

ED2, il centro europeo di design di Toyota, ha curato lo stile esterno di quest’auto. Un italiano, Elvio D’Aprile, responsabile del design del progetto, spiega che lo stile esterno è caratterizzato da due entità. La parte inferiore, compresa tra il sottoparaurti e gli archi ruota, è robusta e massiccia, ed è influenzata dallo stile dei SUV. La parte superiore, dà luogo a un aspetto dinamico, caratterizzato dal tetto ricurvo e del terzo finestrino laterale. La tradizionale bombatura Toyota sul cofano diventa sempre più pronunciata. La tipica forma triangolare del terzo finestrino e i fari posteriori a forma di L rovesciata esprimono l’identità stilistica Toyota. In più, la nuova Corolla Verso integra il paraurti frontale e la griglia in un solo elemento e il cofano è spostato più indietro possibile. Tutto questo assicura non solo una migliore integrazione, ma determina anche una migliore protezione per i pedoni.

La nuova Corolla Verso può ospitare fino a 7 persone. Tutte e cinque le poltrone posteriori possono essere ripiegate, creando uno spazio di carico completamente piatto, senza la necessità di rimuovere nessuno dei sedili dall’interno della vettura. Il sistema di chiusura “Flat” dei sedili della nuova Corolla Verso è, a detta della casa, il più semplice da azionare oggi presente sul mercato. I sedili sono anche i più leggeri presenti nel segmento, e ciò facilita ulteriormente l’operazione.

L’interno è caratterizzato da linee geometriche e tridimensionali che assicurano al cockpit una forma ad arco ben definita. I designers hanno scelto una combinazione di finiture metalliche per accentuare il quadro strumenti centrale e sottolineare la qualità e l’ aspetto high-tech.

Seguendo la politica di Toyota di produrre in Europa le automobili destinate ai clienti del Vecchio Continente, la nuova Corolla Verso verrà prodotta in Turchia dalla TMMT – Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey. Ricordiamo che in tale impianto sono già prodotte la Corolla Wagon e la Corolla berlina, quest’ultima non commercializzata in Italia, mentre le Corolla 3 e 5 porte sono prodotte in Gran Bretagna da TMUK – Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK.

La commercializzazione della Corolla Verso avrà inizio in maggio e Toyota prevede di venderne, entro la fine dell’anno, circa 62.000 unità
