da come scrive e da come documenta, quell'emmeti (M. T.) mi ricorda un certo ospite fisso da Santoro, non soltanto per le iniziali... Però se viene fuori che il giornalista in questione è uno che legge autoblog mi cadono le palle!

Anche se fosse lui (ne dubito) penso che abbia scritto quel post per dovere di informazione piuttosto che per il fatto che è assiduo lettore del blog.

In ogni caso chiunque l'abbia scritto ha esposto molto bene i fatti.

De Tomaso SLC Crossover: A Cadillac SRX in New Clothes

De Tomaso, a brand once known for building exotic sports cars, plans a return to the modern world with a new crossover. Dubbed SLC, the car is scheduled to debut at the Geneva auto show. The revived company hasn’t released details yet, but what’s clear from photos that surfaced as part of a set at Argentina Autoblog is that De Tomaso has reskinned another manufacturer’s vehicle. There’s no shame in that—coachbuilders have turned out some great stuff throughout automotive history—but we do question De Tomaso’s choice of platform. Underneath the oddly proportioned sedan-crossover appears to be . . . a Cadillac SRX.

Viewed alone, the De Tomaso SLC looks like a fastback sedan. But with people standing beside it, the scale becomes apparent: This is a properly big vehicle. The position and shape of the B-pillar aligns with what you’ll see on the SRX, but the real similarities are inside, where the gauge cluster, steering wheel, door panels, seat pans, dashboard, and switchgear all appear to be transplanted directly from the Cadillac, albeit with what we can only assume is fine Italian leather covering everything. The SLC’s center stack looks like it has been reconfigured, as it’s now capped by an immobile screen instead of the SRX’s pop-up display.

A spokesperson for General Motors said that, to the best of their knowledge, the company had not entered into any supply agreements with De Tomaso, and that it’s likely De Tomaso purchased the car through normal retail channels. We imagine that along with the reskin and modified center console, De Tomaso plans to up the power from the 265 hp produced by the SRX’s standard 3.0-liter V-6, though whether that would be accomplished by forced induction or an altogether different powertrain we can’t say. What we can promise, however, is that we’ll bring you full coverage of this interesting Italian-American mashup when it bows in Geneva next month.

Poco tempo fa qualcuno qui dentro mi trattava come un povero cretino quando dicevo che non nutrivo fiducia in Rossignolo. Beh come la mettiamo ora?

Io all'attenzione di qualche giornalista d'inchiesta questa cosa la farei pervenire. Mi puzza moooolto di truffa, o per lo meno di scorribanda finanziaria più che industriale.

Prima si parlava del fatto che fosse o meno un modello marciante: ho notato altri due particolari. Il montante centrale con tutte le due portiere aperte vicino al tetto si vede che rientra molto, quasi con uno scalino. Mi sembra una forma un po' strana, ma magari è solo una mia idea.

Inoltre la portiera posteriore aperta, vista dall'interno, rivela la totale assenza di qualsiasi cablaggio.

Nel filmato postato preso da youtube si vede Gianni Letta che dopo essersi seduto nei sedili posteriori chiude la portiera e poi la richiude nuovamente, non capisco se perché soddisfatto del rumore o sconcertato per la chiusura imprecisa...
