Rolls-Royces aren't built for speed, but that hasn't stopped the company from testing the Ghost Coupe at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Heavily disguised, the prototype tries to overcome the laws of physics but ultimate fails as it exhibits plenty of body roll in the corners. Despite this, the driver probably enjoyed one of the more comfortable rides on the 'Ring.

Underneath the camouflage, we can expect familiar styling which clearly echoes the sedan. However, the coupe is expected to have a lowered suspension, a shorter wheelbase and a chopped roof.

Powerwill likely be provided by a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine. It produces 570 HP (420 kW) in the sedan, but previous reports have indicated the coupe could have an increased output of 608 HP (447 kW). This could enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 4.7 seconds.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and could cost approximately £205,000 (€256,590 / $327,920).
