Following the debut of the new A4 in late 2014, Audi will quickly move to launching the new Avant, which will be launched some time in the year after that.

The new wagon from Ingolstadt will be underpinned by the same new modular platform as the sedan and will come with the same new, more powerful but efficient engines. Besides being much lighter than before, the car will also be safer, thanks to increased rigidity of the crash protection structures.

The same platform will also be used by a mysterious new type of roomier estate car with standard seven-seat arrangement. Rumor to be called the A4 Superavant, this model means the regular estate will have a slightly different role.

The Multitronic transmission will be killed off forever, the body will be sexier and the 2-liter diesel will have 200 horsepower. Yep, that sounds like the perfect Audi Avant to us! We also expect the quattro version to be a sort of hybrid, with the back wheels motivated by electricity.

Contesto; garbatamente, ma contesto. Le A4 che più apprezzo sono quelle ante De Silva e i suoi fari orizzontali ripetuti alla nausea....

Ragazzi quello che dite e' vero (flotte, cina, tassi agevolati) tuttavia non si puo' negare che il successo di audi non si basa solo su questo. Hanno fatto un marketing efficacissimo ed hanno costruito una riconoscibilita' che non ha eguali nell'automotive degli ultimi 20 anni. Fanno auto che piacciono e per cui anche chi non puo' permettersele farebbe sacrifici per averle. Cosa che non succede per altri marchi dal passato ben piu' blasonato, incluse le nemiche di casa.

Un photoshop e un rumors dove l'unica cosa concreta è "it will be".

Lascerei perdere sia i discorsi sulla monotonia dello styling,sia le analisi di marketing.
