[China] Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift (Spy)

It’s interesting to see what cars end up looking like when they are built in China using Chinese parts suppliers. For example, spy shots of a refreshed VW Tiguan testing in China have emerged.

This model has new headlights, new grille, some smaller changes at the front bumper and a slightly different taillight design. Yes, the front end look is like that of the Tiguan sold in Europe, but the taillights look like the old ones only darker.

The refreshed model will go on sale next year across the Chinese market after it debuts at the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The engine options will still include 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines, though we can’t say for sure what DSG will be offered.
