A new NSX Concept that showcases the evolution of the next-generation supercar’s styling and design, including a first look at the possible direction for its interior design was unveiled today by American Honda on their Acura stand.The design stays remarkably true to the original concept styling, maintaining its low and wide stance with the dynamic and alluring proportions that are highlighted by clean, modern and simple surfacing, and edgy details that communicate supercar attitude and a high-tech feel.

The new NSX Concept offers a glimpse at one potential direction for the next-generation NSX’s interior design. The interior package boasts outstanding visibility, a strong driving position, and an intuitive “Simple Sports Interface” that minimises interior clutter, allowing the driver to focus on the driving experience. Consistent with the spirit of the original NSX, Honda’s designers have strived to deliver synergy between man and machine.

With the aim of delivering a new sports car experience that combines supercar dynamic capabilities with advanced environmental performance, the NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted, direct-injected V-6 engine mated to Honda’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system.

As previously announced, the new NSX is being developed by a global R&D team led by designers and engineers at Honda R&D Americas, Inc. located in Los Angeles, California, and Raymond, Ohio. The new NSX will also be manufactured at a new production facility in central Ohio.

a giudicare da specchietti ed interni, direi che è pronta alla strada.

Speravo in un frontale meno estremo nel passaggio alla serie, ma va più che bene anche così. Oggetto del desiderio per la stagione 2013/2014.

Ultimamente c'è sta moda di disegnare e mettere le bocchette nella plancia usando il metodo "bendiamo il designer d'interni". S'è già vista na roba simile in Civic USA e Corvette.

Honda will take the covers off the latest NSX concept car at the Detroit show today, but images of the car and its interior have already been leaked.Essentially a lightly tweaked version of the NSX concept shown at last year’s Detroit show, the new car gets a proper interior for the first time. The leaked image shows what appears to be a near production ready cabin, with big carbon fibre struts running from the dash into the centre console.

The NSX is expected to go into production in 2014 and will be built in the US, where most of the car’s development will also be carried out. The car will use a V6 coupled to an electric motor to drive the front wheels, and electric motors driving the rear wheels to give four-wheel drive.

Secondo autocar dovrebbe trattarsi di Concept Production Ready. La press conference di Acura è alle 10.40 a.m, considerato che sono le 6.50 del mattino a Detroit, abbiamo ancora qualche ora d'attesa.
