Qoros says its flexible architecture will allow them to develop a wide array of models, including a BMW 5-Series-sized sedan and a large seven-seat SUV, as previewed in these design sketches.The platform in question has a 2690mm wheelbase that can be shrunken by 50mm for the Golf competitor and stretched by 130mm to create a 5-Series-sized car. This flexible architecture allows Qoros to shrink the rear overhang by 70mm or enlarge it by 230mm, while the ride height can be altered by as much as 200mm. The platform is compatible with three seat heights: standard, 70mm higher (for the hatch-based crossover) and even higher for the SUV.
