Ormai la notizia s'è diffusa: probabilmente Ford porterà a Detroit la nuova GT, o almeno così si legge un po' su tutti i siti, americani e non, da due settimane ad oggi.

Su WCF adesso è spuntata 'sta roba

che sarebbe, stando a loro, o un teaser della GT o il nuovo logo di Ford Performance (unione di RS, SVT e RS Team).

O, aggiungo io, nessuna delle due .

Qui un articolo sulla presunta GT:

Ford is rumored to launch a new sports vehicle during the 2015 Detroit Motor Show in January next year and this car could be a successor for the GT.According to Carscoops, the company is preparing a limited-run model with around 1,200 units to be built. Our source also says power will be provided from a more potent version of the V6 EcoBoost engine with at least 600 HP (441 kW).

The new GT will be revealed to mark the 50th anniversary of Ford winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will reportedly hit the market as a 2016 model.

Mi ricordo di avere letto alcuni anni fa (forse prima della crisi del 2008) che la ford aveva intenzione di fare una GT però con motorizzazione ibrida ma credo che comunque questa sia tutto un altro progetto.

Comunque V6 con 600 cv per me sa un po di cosa poco reale, ovviamente imho

E' un ipotesi che aveva fatto nel 2011 Auto Express, però senza alcuna base, conferma o fonte alternativa.

Here's what you need to know: it has a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 (yes, seriously) with more than 600 horsepower and is going into production in late 2016. 15The body features liberal amounts of carbon fiber and more advanced lightweight composites, so Ford promises it will "exhibit one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car."

They also say it has an F1-style steering wheel and a paddle-shift gearbox, plus upward swinging doors. Here's more:
