In breve:

Un quadro strumenti semplice che cambia a seconda della condizione di guida: mentre vai ti mostra la velocità, la marcia inserita, eventuali pericoli sulla strada o il superamento del limite di velocità. Quando sei fermo ti mostra l'autonomia e la tua posizione lungo il tragitto preimpostato (se ce n'è uno). In movimento rimane una barretta che indica l'autonomia.

Il design è semplicissimo e molto funzionale, si ha subito chiarissima evidenza delle informazioni principale. Ottimo per auto in cui la sportività non è un prerequisito funzionale, anche se sul sito c'è anche un esempio per ferrari (che non sono riuscito a visualizzare)

Autocluster codebase

These are the codebases and design assets for prototypes used in the thought-piece "Re-imagining the instrument cluster in cars" written by ustwo. There are 4 web based prototypes in this repository representing:

• An unbranded archetype of an instrument cluster
  
• Concept cluster UI of a Ferrari California
  
• Concept cluster UI of a Mercedes Benz S-class
  
• Adaptive UI prototype - using headtracking as a basis for judging viewing angle.
  

Also included in the design assets folder is a PSD file for you to play with too.

Tools

• The primary tool used for building these prototypes has been the FramerJS framework built for rapid prototyping and experimentation. This can be found at http://framerjs.com/ and their realtime application Framer Studio.
  
• Also used is PaperJS Paper.js for vector graphics scripting.
  
• Headtrackr JS - which is a javascript library for real-time face tracking and head tracking, tracking the position of a users head in relation to the computer screen, via a web camera and the webRTC/getUserMedia standard. https://github.com/auduno/headtrackr/

Guarda, IO voglio tachimetro, contagiri, lancetta della benzina e temperatura (possibilmente acqua e olio). Che sia tutto, contemporaneamente e con ordine: niente cose che si muovo, si colorano, disegnini che spuntano fuori etc.

Effettivamente i cruscotti digitali e mutevoli stanno ottenendo un certo successo, ancora preferisco che le cose principali (quelle di sopra) rimangano sempre fisse, lasciando eventualmente al centro il posto per il CDB. Il navi (con mappa) richiede una posizione a parte. Nel cruscotto è invece comodo l'ideogramma.

Sì in parte concordo con te, per me strumenti a orologio e tutto a portata di vista. Ma è interessante lo studio ergonomico che c'è dietro: finora le case hanno mimato l'analogico col display e hanno aggiunto interfacce di controllo assurde. Qui c'è dietro un nuovo studio ergonomico e con uno stile meno "skeumorfico" e più "semantico"

La funzionalità e l'immediatezza della strumentazione sono molto importante, visto che in un veicolo in movimento è importante non distrarsi e ricavare le informazioni necessarie a colpo d'occhio.

Tuttavia non mi piacerebbe diventasse uno standard così impersonale, le auto sono belle perché ognuna ha un qualcosa di diverso e suo, le abbiamo sempre guardate un po' storcendo il naso in caso di "carry-over", anche nei tentativi di camuffatura dello stesso.

Per me ci sta di seguire delle linee guida, ma almeno una leggera personalizzazione estetica ci sta tutta, un po' come android nei telefoni di marche diverse.
