[h=2]Could be introduced in 2017[/h]Ferrari introduced the California T a little over a year ago but new details are starting to emerge about the next-generation model.

According to Automobile Magazine, the redesigned convertible will be introduced in 2017 and usher in a "new look" for the brand. While nothing is official the car will reportedly have an aggressive and radical design. The model is also slated to sit lower to the ground and be more performance orientated than its predecessor.

The report goes on to say the model will ride on an all-new platform which use aluminum spaceframe construction. We can also expect a lighter retractable hardtop.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but speculation suggests the model could be offered with two different engines. The entry-level would reportedly use a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine that develops approximately 600 bhp while high-performance variant would use the same turbocharged 3.8-liter (3855cc) V8 engine as today's model.
