Ma infatti E' criminalità organizzata. Organizzata da folkswater e coperta dalla merkel, con il beneplacito dell'"unione" europea (leggasi quarto reich tedesco). Menomale che gli Americani non si fanno prendere per il ciulo da questi aspiranti dominatori del mondo.

Perchè lo hanno fatto?
Per essere il venditore n.1 sul mercato e perchè il CR aveva prestazioni identiche rispetto all'iniettore pompa ma il piacere di guida era indegno.
Col barbatrucco hanno tentato di fare un iniettore pompa wannabe ma come dice bene la descrizione, il CR con o senza barbatrucco sempre sarà un iniettore pompa wannabe.

Some Japanese Diesel Cars’ On-Road Emissions Higher Than in Lab Tests 

Some versions of vehicles emitted up to 10 times the standard level in field tests, transport ministry says

TOKYO—Japanese authorities said they found on-road emissions were much higher than in laboratory tests of certain diesel-powered vehicles made by Toyota Motor Corp., Nissan Motor Co. and Mitsubishi Motors Corp. sold in Japan.

Two Toyota vehicles and a Nissan vehicle tested on roads emitted up to 10 times the amount of nitrogen oxides, or NOx, than the standard they needed to meet in laboratory tests, while a Mitsubishi vehicle emitted up to five times the amount of NOx it needed to meet in a laboratory test, Japan’s transport ministry said in documents released earlier this week. 

The Japanese transport ministry tested six types of diesel vehicles. No illegal software was found in any of the tested cars and the auto makers haven’t violated any regulations, officials said. Diesel vehicles sold in Japan are currently subject to only laboratory tests for emissions, but the government is considering adding on-road testing. Regulators in Europe and U.S. are also discussing similar measures.

The Japanese tests were part of a global reaction to Volkswagen AG’s emissions scandal, in which the German auto maker last year admitted to using illegal software to manipulate the test results for certain diesel cars.

The results were the latest example of gaps that have been found between laboratory-test and field-test emissions, which industry experts have warned about for years.

France, which set up a special commission last year that would oversee the testing of 100 cars under real-world conditions, said in January that several cars tested by the commission, including one Renault SA model, had been found with excessively high exhaust emissions. 

In Japan, the vehicles with the biggest emissions gaps were certain versions of Toyota’s Hiace van and the Land Cruiser Prado sport-utility vehicle, Nissan’s X-Trail SUV and Mitsubishi’s Delica D:5, all sold in Japan, the ministry said. 

In contrast, Mazda Motor Corp.’s CX-5 in street tests yielded almost the same emissions result as the laboratory test standard, while the Demio, known as the Mazda2 overseas, had only a small gap between the lab standard and the field-test result, authorities said.

The X-Trail and the Delica D:5 emitted more NOx than the standard in initial laboratory tests, then met the standard in later tests, the ministry said. That isn’t a problem, an official said, because before cars are approved for sale, multiple vehicles are tested and the average emission figure of these vehicles is compared with the standard. In these latest tests to gauge emissions gaps, only one vehicle of each version was tested and therefore, an average couldn’t be calculated. 

Toyota “will continue to make improvements to reduce NOx emissions during on-road vehicle operation,” a company spokesman said. “Nissan will continue to develop and launch highly efficient, low-emission powertrains,” a spokesman said. Mitsubishi “will continue to follow the law and regulations world-wide and will work to develop new emission-cutting technology,” a spokesman said.

Japan’s diesel-car market is small. Last year, diesel-powered cars accounted for around 4% of the total passenger car sales, including minicars with 660cc engines.

In Japan, diesel vehicles must pass a 20-minute laboratory emissions test before they are approved for sale. The test involves a cycle of acceleration and deceleration, with maximum speed of around 82 kilometers (51 miles) an hour.

To determine whether auto makers were using illegal software, the ministry said it conducted both lab and field testing, driving cars on a set route that included city roads and highways to gauge NOx and other emissions. 

The emissions gaps likely emerged in the Toyota and Nissan vehicles because when the cars were tested on the streets, cold weather prompted the vehicles to activate a function that protects the engine from damages, the ministry said. That led the vehicles to switch off a system called an exhaust gas recirculation which reduces NOx formation, for a set period of time, it said.

Toyota said it also sells some diesel Hiace vans in Hong Kong, Singapore, Chile and Russia. Nissan said different versions of the diesel X-Trail are sold mainly in Europe, while Mitsubishi said the Delica is a Japan-only model.

 diligentemente ,anche in Giappone si sono messi a testare i diesel locali, per vedere se e quanto sorpassavano i limiti e se c'erano barbatrucchi....laggiù il grosso dei diesel sono fuoristrada (non SUV) e simili...mi sono permesso di sottolineare un passaggio  

 

il lavoro di Mazda sui diesel nuovi è rimarcabile. se non esplodono a 100k km è encomiabile.

.Beh in teoria i Mazda lavorando con un rapporto di compressione inferiore dovrebbero essere meno sollecitati e avere meno rischi di affidabilità.( ok che ci sono anche molti altri fattori, ma quello è un rischio in meno)
