Guardando le ultime foto postate della Valkyrie sono smepre più convinto che quei "vuoti" della carrozzeria, motlo affascinanti, nella versione che circolerà non resteranno tanto vuoti, ma verrano ben riempiti di radiatori, tubi cavi, tubicini, centraline, ventole ecc..fidatevi. Altrimenti dove li mettono? un  motore aspirato così potente avrà bisogno di radiatori molto grossi e se deve essere omologato per circolare su strada dovrà avere degli enormi catalizzatori e marmitte e collettori e quant'altro. PEr non parlare dell'elettronica del sistema ibrido che è piuttosto ingomabnrante e le batterie tutte con il loro bel sistema di raffreddamento dedicato. A guardare quelle foto sembra che sulla Valkyrie non ci sia spazio per tutte ste cose sotto al carrozzeria. Anche nella coda così esile e "vuota"  è impossibile che possa contenere i voluminosi catializzatori per una macchina da 1000 cv.

Ripeto quesi vouti della carrozzeria si riempiranno eccome, quando sta macchina dovrà scendere su strada. per forza nella Mercedes Projet one si vede una coda molto più massiccia, pur avendo un motore molto più piccolo: un V6 1.6, non è che l'han fatta così per sport, ma per contenre tuto quelle che serve per farla funzionare

I "vuoti" aerodinamici però sono principalmente davanti alla cellula-abitacolo, dietro a quest'ultimo, dove alloggia il motore con il relativo ben di Dio a cui facevi riferimento tu, vuoti non ne vedo.

 

Comunque concordo con chi dice che questa Valkyrie ruota attorno ad un concetto aerodinamico ben più estremo delle altre hypercar viste fin qui, sono davvero curioso di leggere qualche prova e vedere cosa hanno ottenuto.

Sotto è completamente vuota , sembra la classica auto di Newey che se ne frega della meccanica , sarebbe davvero bello vederla nuda

La versione pista avrà prestazioni da F1, e stato dichiarato ufficialmente...

 

Resta da vedere come andrà la versione stradale. Ma penso che avrà prestazioni mai viste in strada...

Riporto solo quello che mi è stato detto in misura informale: L’ auto è quella, il sistema di scarico è molto semplice e non dovrebbe ingombrare granché, non ci sono radiatori laterali, ovviamente non ci sono turbo e intercooler, il pacchetto ibrido è piccolo e leggero e non darà chissà quale boost dal punto di vista della potenza, come

dicevo sarà di ausilio al cambio.

Proprio a sentimento, basta guardare dove stanno gli intake...potrebbero essere sdoppiati così (acqua + olio oppure acqua + scambiatore - kers)

quest'auto parte da un assunto diverso dalle altre hypercar: 

per avere le prestazioni in pista di un'auto da corsa si deve avere la downforce di un'auto da corsa, quindi pur avendo una meccanica di prim'ordine quest'auto e' costruita attorno alla downforce

d'altra parte e' questa la specialita' di newey, quello che fara' in strada comodita' e abitabilita' comprese e' del tutto secondario rispetto all'obiettivo principale, la downforce per la pista appunto

As such, it is fitting that this 150-unit road-going hypercar can now be further optimised with the AMR Track Performance Pack. The pack’s track-only components - which can be interchanged with the existing road-legal parts - are set to deliver approximately 8%* quicker lap times on top of the standard Aston Martin Valkyrie.
 
The AMR Track Performance Pack features a new aerodynamic front clam delivering greater downforce and efficiency, a second set of all other exterior body panels, lightweight titanium brakes, track-focused suspension and a matte black magnesium performance wheel and carbon-fibre aero-disk set. Customers can also include a suite of personalised pit garage and race suit accessory options to their package, providing owners with the ultimate track day and hypercar ownership experience.
 
Customers choosing the AMR Track Performance Pack are also able to choose between three spectacular AMR livery designs or their own unique finish, which can be tailored using ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission’, Aston Martin’s bespoke VIP customisation service.
 
For those choosing to keep their Aston Martin Valkyrie on the road, the options are boundless.
