Il dato USA è non frenato, come dicevi tu.

I pesi indicati sono con un rimorchio libero, senza freni.

Ovvio che fisicamente il mezzo trainerebbe molto ma molto di piu' ma non entro i parametri di sicurezza.

What It Was Like Keeping The New Jeep Wrangler's Juiciest Secrets Quiet For Two Years

For the past few years, I’ve held a dark secret: while my colleagues at Jalopnik scrambled to learn every detail they could get about the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler, I already knew most everything. I just couldn’t say anything to them.

Before I worked for this website, I was an engineer on the next-gen Jeep Wrangler program. I learned a ton of juicy details about the next and most advanced iteration of this legendary off-roader.

 

But after leaving Fiat Chrysler for Jalopnik, I was legally bound to not say a word, and to watch from the sidelines as my new coworkers speculated about things I knew were utterly wrong.

With the new Wrangler’s debut, though, it’s finally time to break my silence on what that was like.

A Dream Job

After spending much of my childhood reading every Jeep-related rumor I could find on the internet, I decided to study engineering in college with hopes to someday work in the hallowed halls of the Chrysler Technical Center.

 

In 2012, that dream came true when I landed an internship, and a year later, I started full-time. I’m convinced that my many years of hammering Jeeps through Missouri River floodplain muck pleased the Jeep gods, because as soon as I settled into my cubicle, my boss (who later became the chief engineer of the JL) gave me the option to work on any program I wanted. Of course, I chose the Wrangler.

Over the next two years, my role in the Advanced AeroThermal team required me to see lots of nitty gritty details of the solid-axle, body-on-frame Jeep. Now, instead of just learning information about the next-gen Jeep from rumor-mills, I was helping decide what the next Jeep would become. For me, it was riveting.

Nel mondo delle fuoristrada moltissimi appassionati personalizzano la propria auto e il mercato degli accessori aftermarket prevede dotazioni specifiche per ogni esigenza. La Mopar, in occasione del lancio della nuova generazione della Jeep Wrangler, ha sviluppato una serie di accessori con i quali i futuri clienti potranno personalizzare la fuoristrada americana. Per mettere in mostra le nuove Jeep Performance Parts, al Salone di Los Angeles sono state esposte due Wrangler modificate, una Rubicon Unlimited, con dotazioni estreme, e una Sport.

La Rubicon Unlimited. La quattro porte è stata verniciata nella tinta Mojito Green, un colore che viene ripreso anche dai cerchi beadlock da 17" con pneumatici tassellati da 35". Delleportiere tubolari modificano la fiancata insieme a un nuovo snorkel pensato per incrementare l'altezza di guado della vettura insieme a un assetto rialzato di 5 centimetri: un nuovo paraurti anteriore integra un verricello, mentre delle luci supplementari a Led (con potenza massima di 8.000 lumen) possono essere utilizzate per illuminare i sentieri durante le fasi di guida notturna. All'interno sono invece presenti un kit di primo soccorso, delle maniglie in tela per i passeggeri e un set di tasche integrate negli schienali dei sedili.

La Sport. Meno estrema è la Jeep Wrangler Sport due porte, che propone una personalizzazione estetica abbinata a nuovi dettagli tecnici. Il cofano è impreziosito dal disegno di una bandiera americana, mentre alcuni adesivi laterali mostrano i sentieri del Moab: per la prima volta la Wrangler può essere dotata di barre sul tetto grazie a un nuovo hard top che rende anche più silenzioso l'abitacolo. I cerchi da 17" si abbinano a pneumatici da 25" e a un assetto rialzato di 5 cm: come la Unlimited, anche la due porte dispone di un supporto posteriore per la ruota di scorta. Completano l'allestimento accessori come tappetini in gomma, un nuovo tappo del serbatoio e sedili in pelle con logo Jeep
