Cita

Prices for the Enyaq 80 start from £39,350 in Loft trim (Suite trim, seen here, starts from £40,660). That undercuts the ID 4 and the Ford Mustang Mach-E, despite offering marginally more space and range than both, if a touch less dynamic appeal. It certainly doesn’t feel like a budget rival in the way that Skodas once did. If anything, the Enyaq is another step forward for the brand.

So there’s much to like. Our only hesitancy in recommending this Enyaq 80 might be the 60 version. While it offers 77 miles less range, with prices starting from £31,995 (aided by it sitting it under the revised government EV grant threshold), it’s substantially cheaper than the 80, which should make it a compelling rival to the likes of the Kia e-Niro.

Nuove foto degli interni.

Devo dire che gli interni mi piacciono ma gli esterni non mi convincono, per ora preferisco la cugina ID.4 come design esterno.

Pope Francis travels in ŠKODA ENYAQ iV during his visit to Slovakia

› ŠKODA AUTO is providing two ŠKODA ENYAQ iVs and two ŠKODA KAROQs for the pontiff’s visit to Slovakia
› Dedicated website for personal greetings to Pope Francis
› Head of the Catholic Church travels in vehicles from the Czech car manufacturer for the second time

Mladá Boleslav, 13 September 2021 – ŠKODA AUTO is providing Pope Francis with two ŠKODA ENYAQ iVs for the duration of his visit to Slovakia from 12 to 15 September. The two all-electric SUVs have been adapted according to the Vatican’s wishes. In addition, two ŠKODA KAROQs will accompany the pontiff on his journey. Via a dedicated website, greetings can be addressed to the Pope that will be displayed virtually on his vehicle.

From 12 to 15 September 2021, Pope Francis will be visiting Slovakia at the invitation of President Zuzana Čaputová. During his stay, ŠKODA AUTO will be making two ENYAQ iVs and two KAROQs available to the Pontiff. For this occasion, the ENYAQ iVs have been adapted according to the Vatican’s specifications. To make it easier to see the Pontiff, clear glass windows in the rear of the vehicle have replaced the standard tinted side windows. Chrome standard holders for the Vatican flag are mounted on the front wing of the passenger side and the official logo of the papal visit can be seen on the exterior mirror housings. To make exiting the vehicle more comfortable, an additional handle was also added at the request of the Vatican. All vehicles are painted in black metallic and have black interiors.

After the official welcome at Bratislava airport on Sunday afternoon, the Pope was driven to an ecumenical meeting at the diplomatic representation of the Holy See in the Slovakian capital. On Monday, he will be meeting with the Slovakian President and representatives from politics, diplomacy, society and the Church, as well as representatives of the Jewish community. On Tuesday 14 September, the Pontiff is flying to Košice, where he will also meet with representatives of the Roma community. A ŠKODA ENYAQ iV and a KAROQ will also be at his disposal in Košice. On Wednesday, the head of the Catholic Church will be travelling to the pilgrimage site of Šaštín before returning to Rome at midday.

ŠKODA AUTO has launched a dedicated website for the Pope’s visit to Slovakia, where people from all over the world can send greetings to the Pontiff as he travels through Slovakia. This also gives those who cannot attend the public events in person the opportunity to address Pope Francis. Through augmented reality, all greetings received via the website will be displayed on a virtual 3D model of the SUV on the website or on a real ENYAQ iV. All you need to do is go to the website and point your tablet or mobile phone at the vehicle.

This is the second time the head of the Catholic Church has travelled in vehicles from the Czech car manufacturer. ŠKODA AUTO also provided four ŠKODA RAPID SPACEBACKs for Pope Francis during his two-day visit to Ireland as part of the World Meeting of Families in Dublin in 2018.

  • Two motors, 299 PS (220 kW)* system output and all-wheel drive ensure dynamic handling
  • Outstanding aerodynamics combined with high energy efficiency delivers a range of over 310 miles (500 kilometres)** in the WLTP cycle
  • Emotive design with signature vRS details and spacious interior

Mladá Boleslav, 25 October 2022 – ŠKODA AUTO is expanding its vRS family to include another all-electric model – the ENYAQ iV vRS. Just like the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS, the Czech carmaker has opted for two motors with a total system output of 299 PS (220 kW)* and all-wheel drive for the top version of the SUV. Thanks to an exceptional drag coefficient of cw 0.265, the ENYAQ iV vRS has a range of over 310 miles (500 kilometres)** in the WLTP cycle.

A new addition to ŠKODA’s range: The Czech car manufacturer’s sporty vRS line-up has been expanded to include a second all-electric model – the new ENYAQ iV vRS. The SUV features all‑wheel drive and two electric motors with a system output of 299 PS (220 kW)* as does the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS. This makes the two vRS versions of the ENYAQ iV family the most powerful vehicles in ŠKODA’s portfolio. The ENYAQ iV family is based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) and rolls off the production line at ŠKODA’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav. The ENYAQ iV and ENYAQ COUPÉ iV are the only MEB models to be manufactured in Europe outside Germany. ŠKODA AUTO has announced that in the coming days, the 100,000th car from the ENYAQ iV family will roll off the production line. This figure includes both the ENYAQ iV SUV and the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV series in all their respective variants, such as the sporty vRS and SportLine versions. Alongside all-electric models, the car manufacturer also offers customers a ŠKODA iV ecosystem, which includes wallboxes for convenient at-home charging and the POWERPASS, a charging card that can be used throughout Europe.

The ENYAQ iV vRS has a dynamic appearance, with sports suspension as standard, large 20- or 21-inch wheels and distinctive vRS features, to make it instantly recognisable as a vRS model. With a top speed of 111 mph (180 km/h), it is 12 mph (20 km/h) faster than the other ENYAQ iV models, as is the coupé variant. Locally emission-free, the vehicle sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds and boasts a maximum torque of 460 Nm, which is available from standstill, as is typical for an e-vehicle. Its 82 kWh battery, high energy efficiency and drag coefficient of cw 0.265 give the model a maximum range of over 310 miles (500 kilometres)** in the WLTP cycle. Thanks to a maximum charging power of 135 kW, the ENYAQ iV vRS’s lithium-ion high-voltage battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 36 minutes at fast-charging stations.

ENYAQ RS iV offers excellent driving dynamics and generous space
Besides its sporty look and dynamic handling, the new ŠKODA ENYAQ iV vRS offers a generous amount of space for up to five people. The SUV is 4,653 millimetres long, 1,879 millimetres wide and 1,605 millimetres high, with a wheelbase of 2,768 millimetres. At 585 litres, the boot capacity is 15 litres larger than the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS and can be expanded to up to 1,710 litres by folding down the rear seat backrests.

vRS-specific exterior, full LED Matrix headlights and Crystal Face as standard
The ENYAQ iV vRS sports a particularly dynamic exterior with numerous vRS-specific details: The frame of the ŠKODA grille is in high-gloss black, as are the window frames, exterior mirror covers and rear diffuser, as well as the ŠKODA wordmark and model designation at the rear. The front apron sports high-gloss black accents on the air curtain surrounds, which are E-shaped on the vRS model. The side skirts are painted in the body colour and the red reflector in the rear apron runs across the entire width of the vehicle – a distinguishing feature of all ŠKODA vRS models. The front wings bear exclusive green vRS logos, and the ENYAQ iV vRS comes with the Crystal Face as standard; 131 LEDs illuminate the vertical ribs as well as the horizontal bar of the ŠKODA grille. They combine with the full LED Matrix headlights and full LED rear lights, both of which come as standard on the vRS model, to create an animated welcome effect.

Large wheels, lower body and outstanding aerodynamics
Underlining the ENYAQ iV vRS’s dynamic appearance, the standard sports suspension lowers the body by 15 millimetres at the front axle and 10 millimetres at the rear axle. This ensures excellent aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient of cw 0.265. The streamlined plastic aero inserts on the large wheels also have a positive influence on the aerodynamics. As standard, the ENYAQ iV vRS comes with black 20-inch Taurus wheels, while anthracite-coloured 21-inch Vision wheels are available as an option. The solid paint finish in eye-catching Hyper Green is exclusive to the vRS models, and all other colours offered for the series are also available. Another option for the ENYAQ iV vRS is a large panoramic sunroof, which can be opened halfway at the front.

Sporty interior with vRS details and two exclusive Design Selections
The interior, which is predominantly black with generous space for up to five passengers, is characterised by a sporty ambience typical of the vRS series. The ENYAQ iV vRS’s comprehensive standard equipment includes carbon-look decorative trim on the dashboard and door panels as well as aluminium design pedal covers and heated sports seats with integrated headrests, bearing the vRS logo. A 3-zone climate control system, LED ambient lighting that also illuminates the dashboard and door panels, as well as the Phone Box for inductive smartphone charging also come as standard. The 585-litre boot can be accessed easily thanks to the factory-fitted electric tailgate with virtual pedal. Customers also have a choice of two Design Selections exclusive to the ENYAQ iV vRS models. The black seats in the vRS-series-standard Lounge design selection are upholstered in Suedia microfibre and feature lime-coloured piping and contrast stitching. Contrast stitching in the same colour is also featured on the heated multifunction sports leather steering wheel, bearing the vRS badge and the Suedia-trimmed dashboard. The optional Design Selection vRS Suite offers black perforated leather seat upholstery with grey piping and contrast stitching, which is also found on the multifunction sports leather steering wheel. The dashboard sports a leather-look finish with contrasting stitching.

Two digital displays, head-up display with Augmented Reality available as options
The ENYAQ iV family has the largest central display currently available in a ŠKODA production model, with a screen diagonal of 13 inches. The displays are customisable and can be controlled by touch function including touch slider, multi-touch gestures, gesture control or with the help of the online digital voice assistant Laura, who understands 15 languages. Added to this is a 5.3-inch Digital Cockpit, which presents information on speed, driving data, navigation and assistance systems clearly in four different layouts. The data displayed, as well as numerous vehicle functions and assistance systems, can be controlled using the multifunction steering wheel. The optional head-up display with augmented reality projects additional information into the driver’s field of vision. In addition, the CANTON sound system with twelve speakers and digital equaliser is available as an option to create an immersive sound world.

Permanent Internet connectivity and ŠKODA Connect functions for electric vehicles
ŠKODA ensures that the ENYAQ iV vRS’s software is always up to date thanks to a permanent online connection via an integrated eSIM, which also allows the driver to download additional apps or activate new functions in the infotainment system. The latest ME3 vehicle software includes updates for the displays as well as optimised climate control and improved battery management with battery care mode. The Internet connection supports numerous functions, including traffic information, route planning and searching for parking spaces with real-time data, and enables a wider range of voice control functions. Some of the comprehensive ŠKODA Connect mobile online services have been specially developed for all-electric vehicles. For example, the MyŠKODA app can be used to control battery charging remotely, and the air conditioning can be switched on and scheduled before the start of a journey. The navigation system will identify charging stations nearby or along a planned route. In addition, the MyŠKODA app can prompt the driver to switch on the heating or start a charging cycle if the temperature outdoors is too low at the ENYAQ iV vRS’s location for the battery to be used efficiently.

Highest-performance powertrain in ŠKODA’s model range
The ŠKODA ENYAQ iV vRS is based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) and, like the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS, boasts the highest-performance powertrain in the current model portfolio. One electric motor sits on the front axle while the second is on the rear axle. The ENYAQ iV vRS benefits from all-wheel drive, with a system output of 299 PS (220 kW)* and a maximum torque of 460 Nm.

Sporty chassis and 82 kWh battery for long range
Delivering the energy for a maximum range of over 310 miles (500 kilometres)** in the WLTP cycle is an 82 kWh high-voltage battery, the largest battery in the range. It can be charged at DC fast charging points with a charging power of up to 135 kW and at AC wallboxes at up to 11 kW. The ‘Plug & Charge’ function is new. This makes it possible to start the charging process at suitable charging points stored in the POWERPASS app simply by connecting the charging cable; the vehicle is identified at the charging point and the charging session is billed automatically.

The centre of gravity in the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV vRS is very low thanks to the battery being mounted in the underbody. This, in combination with the sports suspension and progressive steering as standard, makes for particularly dynamic handling. Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC) is available as an option. It constantly monitors the situation on the road and automatically adjusts the damping. Drive Mode Select offers the predefined profiles Eco, Comfort, Normal and Sport, while a custom slider allows the driver to adjust the settings to their own preferences. The ENYAQ iV vRS also offers the additional driving profile Traction. This is ideal for driving on unpaved roads or slippery surfaces, offering constant all-wheel drive at speeds of up to 12 mph (20 km/h).

Excellent active and passive safety as well as numerous assistance systems
The ENYAQ iV vRS offers a high level of active and passive safety. The base model ENYAQ iV achieved the highest rating of five stars in the 2021 Euro NCAP test, scoring 94% for adult passenger protection and 89% for child passenger protection. In addition, the ENYAQ iV was awarded the safest vehicle in its class in the 2021 test year with the best rating for an electric SUV up until that point. The ENYAQ iV vRS comes with up to nine airbags, with driver and front passenger airbags, front side airbags and two head airbags as standard, which also cover the side windows in the first and second rows of seats. A central airbag between the front seats prevents the front passengers from hitting each other in the event of a collision. There is also an option for two side airbags on the outer rear seats. Proactive Occupant Protection, included as standard, tightens the seat belts and closes the windows in the event of an imminent collision, emergency braking, or risk of skidding or tipping over. All the assistance systems ŠKODA currently offers are available for the ENYAQ iV vRS. Travel Assist provides comprehensive support, for example with longitudinal and lateral vehicle guidance. In addition to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), it also includes Adaptive Lane Keeping Assist with Roadworks Detection, Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist. Online access to current traffic data enables the assistance systems to perform even more accurately. In addition to Front Assist with predictive pedestrian and cyclist protection, which comes as standard, Blind Spot detect including Rear Traffic Alert is available, as well as Collision Avoidance Assist, Turn Assist and Exit Warning. The optional Parking Assist also offers the Trained Parking function, where the system records the path to a frequently used parking space, for example through a narrow, winding driveway. The vehicle can then repeat this path at any time as required.

The full LED Matrix headlights and the head-up display with augmented reality also improve safety. With 24 individually controllable LEDs in each high beam module, the matrix technology makes it possible to keep the high beam on permanently without dazzling other road users. As soon as the camera on the windscreen detects vehicles, people or objects that reflect light, the beam is automatically adjusted to eliminate any glare. The optional head-up display projects information onto two fields on the windscreen so that the driver can keep their eyes on the road at all times. In the augmented reality projection, for example, direction arrows from the navigation system are displayed as larger symbols and projected virtually onto the road in front of the vehicle.

*Maximum electrical power 220 kW: Maximum power determined in accordance with UN-GTR.21, that can be engaged for a maximum of 30 seconds. The power available in individual driving situations depends on various factors, including the temperature outdoors, the temperature of the high-voltage battery, and its charging status, condition and physical ageing. The maximum power is only available if the temperature of the high-voltage battery is between 23 and 50°C and its charge level exceeds 88%. If these parameters are not met, the maximum power may be reduced or unavailable. The battery temperature can to a certain degree be influenced indirectly via the stationary air conditioning function, and the charge level can be set in the vehicle. The currently available power is shown on the vehicle’s driving performance screen. To optimally maintain the capacity of the high-voltage battery, a charging target of 80% is recommended for everyday use (this can be changed to 100% before long-distance journeys, for example).

Enyaq L&K: technical upgrades and extra elegance

The Škoda Enyaq now comes in a new version: L&K. As well as cutting-edge equipment maximising user convenience, the L&K boasts a number of technical upgrades, many of which will be taken up by other members of the Enyaq family.

23. 5. 2023

The new car, named after the founders of the Czech car company Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, will be available with two drive variants - rear axle only or all-wheel drive. In both cases, the cars have a new and improved drivetrain system, so the total power output of the car is always 210 kW. The rear-wheel-drive variant of the Enyaq L&K 85 can do 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, almost two seconds faster than the current rear-wheel-drive electric car. It also offers an improved range of 570 kilometres* on the WLTP cycle on a single charge. The all-wheel drive version of the Enyaq L&K 85x then accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and has a range of 550 kilometres on the WLTP cycle on a single charge. Both cars have a top speed of 180 km/h.

The improvement in range is thanks to optimised battery management, with the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes. In addition, Laurin & Klement has a battery preheat function that all Enyaq family cars will get from the 2024 model year onwards, with production starting later this year. The preheat can be activated automatically, for example when the car is heading to a charging station according to navigation, or drivers can activate it themselves in the car’s on-board system. The Enyaq L&K has also undergone significant improvements, with the ME4.0 software that introduces a new user interface matching the brand’s new visual identity, among other things.

Technology upgrade

The new environment also brings improved controls. The entire menu structure has been redesigned to make it clearer and easier to find and use popular features. Now, for example, buttons in the corners of the start-up screen make it easy for the user to access settings, the home screen or apps. At the top of the display there is space for five quick shortcuts to favourite functions or car settings, and up to three selectable apps can be placed in the bottom bar. The new infotainment system gives the user a better overview of the battery level, simplified control of the ventilation and air conditioning and new maps in the navigation system. The brand’s fresh visual identity is also reflected in the graphics of the Virtual Cockpit instrument panel and the head-up display.

Distinctive style

In addition to these upgrades, the Enyaq L&K has also been given a number of aesthetic changes and equipment features that are specific to this version. The car will be available with two interior design lines, for instance. The L&K Shell Design Selection features beige leather interior upholstery, but L&K Black Design Selection with black leather is another option. The front seats have a design exclusive to the L&K version and are fitted with heating, ventilation and massage functions. The (heated) multifunction steering wheel features the L&K logo and details in a new unique Dark Chrome shade.

This matches the details in the exclusive Platinum Grey shade on the model-specific bumpers, for example. The L&K logo can also be found on the front mudguards, while the window frames and wiper blades are in chrome. Chrome is also found on the car’s front grille frame, which comes in a Crystal Face design illuminated with 131 LEDs as standard. The wheels of the Enyaq L&K models have a specific design, and can be 20 or 21 inches in diameter.

Škoda Enyaq in 2024: More powerful drivetrains, faster charging and even more range

2024 model year brings comprehensive technical upgrades for the Enyaq family and a portfolio extension with the new Laurin & Klement trim line

New 85 and 85x powertrain versions with 210 kW*, RS variants now with 250 kW*

Optimised battery management and new pre-conditioning feature reduce charging times to under 30 minutes

Mladá Boleslav, 4 December 2023 – Škoda Auto is comprehensively updating its Enyaq family for the 2024 model year. For the first time ever, the Czech car maker’s popular battery-electric model is also available with the Laurin & Klement trim line, which boasts lavish standard equipment. The technical upgrades bring even more powerful drivetrains, shorter charging times and an increased range. In addition, the new vehicle software features a new, more intuitive user interface.

Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, says: “Our Enyaq family has helped us kick off electric mobility in style – in the first nine months of 2023 alone, we recorded around 55,000 deliveries worldwide, an increase of more than 47 percent year‑on‑year. This success also motivates us to consistently improve the model further. We have listened carefully to our customers: in the new model year, we are introducing the new Enyaq L&K trim line, even more powerful and efficient drivetrains and the new software version featuring an infotainment interface that is more functional and intuitive than ever before.”

More power, longer range and visual details in line with the new Corporate Identity

In the 2024 model year, the new, more efficient and more powerful 85 and 85x model variants replace the previous 80 and 80x versions. Like the sporty RS models, they feature a new, more potent drivetrain with an advanced permanent synchronous motor on the rear axle, capable of a top speed of 180 km/h. For the Enyaq 85, output increases by 60 kW to 210 kW* compared to the previous Enyaq 80. The all-wheel drive Enyaq 85x also delivers 210 kW*, making it 15 kW more powerful than its predecessor. The Enyaq RS now comes with an output of 250 kW*, an increase of 30 kW. An optimised battery with even more advanced thermal management increases the range to over 560 kilometres for the Enyaq 85 SUV and more than 570 kilometres for the Coupé. The entry‑level Enyaq 60 has remained technically unchanged. The lettering on the tailgate of the 2024 Enyaq models as well as all logos are in conformity with the new Škoda CI, and the addition “iV” has been dropped from the model name.

Increased charging rate and faster charging times for all-wheel drive versions

The all-wheel-drive versions Enyaq 85x and Enyaq RS now offer even better charging performance with an increased DC charging rate at fast-charging stations of up to 175 kW. Charging the 82 kWh (77 kWh net) high-voltage battery from 10 to 80 percent now takes just 28 minutes – eight minutes or 22 percent less than before. The Enyaq 85 variants with rear-wheel drive continue to charge at a maximum rate of 135 kW.

New vehicle software for added functionality

With the new vehicle software the Enyaq family now supports battery pre-conditioning. This preheats the battery in preparation for DC charging in low ambient temperatures and optimises charging speed by up to 22 percent. Furthermore, the new interface has a more intuitive menu structure. It enables drivers to define shortcuts for the most frequently used vehicle settings and apps. The navigation system now features new map graphics and a larger map area. Other new features of the vehicle software include a Walkaway function for the KESSY keyless entry system. This automatically locks the vehicle when the driver walks away from the car with the key.

Enyaq L&K with lavish standard equipment

The elegant Enyaq L&K completes the range. This popular trim line comes with an extensive selection of standard equipment. It includes LED Matrix beam headlights and LED rear lights with animated indicators as well as a chrome grille featuring a Crystal Face illuminated by 131 LEDs. Furthermore, the Enyaq L&K comes with exclusive 20" or 21" L&K alloy wheels. The bumpers, diffuser and exterior mirrors feature detailing finished in sophisticated Platinum Grey, while the side skirts are body-coloured. In the interior, the Enyaq L&K boasts electrically controlled, heated and ventilated front seats offering memory and massage functions, with the L&K logo embroidered on the headrests.

Technology: New motor for added power and torque and optimised battery thermal management

Increased top speed of 180 km/h for Enyaq 85 and 85x and range increased to over 570 kilometres depending on the model specification

Charging rate of up to 175 kW through improved cell chemistry and more sophisticated management of the 82 kWh high-voltage battery

Enyaq 85x and Enyaq RS batteries can now be recharged up to 22 per cent faster, from 10 to 80 per cent in only 28 minutes

Mladá Boleslav, 4 December 2023 – Škoda Auto has increased the power, driving performance and maximum range of its new Enyaq 85 and 85x variants. A new electric motor on the rear axle now provides up to 60 kW more power, along with a 235 Nm increase in torque. On top of that, the new motor is more efficient, owing to improvements such as an upgraded voltage converter. The maximum range now exceeds 570 kilometres depending on the model specification. The optimised 82 kWh high‑voltage battery can now be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes, at a rate of up to 175 kW. The battery benefits from improvements in cell chemistry and thermal management and enables shorter charging times for the all-wheel-drive versions, courtesy of an increased charging rate of up to 175 kW.

Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, says: “We have thoroughly tested all hardware and software components, and we have carefully revised and further optimised them. The new, more efficient and powerful electric motor for our 2024 Enyaq models brings increased power, more torque, and a longer range."

New drivetrain with more powerful motor on the rear axle

The Enyaq family gets a significant power boost. The new rear axle motor has been made more powerful and efficient by upgrading the voltage converter that supplies high-phase currents. The new Enyaq 85 and 85x models now have 210 kW* of power – 60 kW more than the previous Enyaq 80 and 15 kW more than the previous Enyaq 80x variants. The RS models have seen their outputs increased by 30 kW to 250 kW*. Maximum torque has increased by 235 Nm – from 310 Nm to 545 Nm. This benefits both the power delivery and the driving dynamics of all Enyaq versions equipped with the 82 kWh battery. The new Enyaq 85 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, making it almost two seconds faster than the previous Enyaq 80. The Enyaq 85x with all‑wheel drive completes the same task in 6.6 seconds. The Enyaq RS, which also has all-wheel drive, now takes 5.5 seconds, one

second less than before. With a top speed of 180 km/h, the Enyaq 85 and 85x are now on par with the RS versions.

Range increased by up to 24 kilometres and charging time reduced by up to 22 percent

The more efficient new motor and a gear ratio adapted to the higher torque result in up to 24 kilometres of added range. The Enyaq 85 can cover more than 560 kilometres on a single charge on the WLTP cycle, while the range of the Enyaq Coupé 85 now exceeds 570 kilometres. Moreover, the optimised 82 kWh high-voltage battery with improved cell chemistry and refined battery management enables a higher maximum charging rate for the all-wheel-drive versions, resulting in shorter charging stops. At DC fast-charging stations, the batteries of the all‑wheel‑drive Enyaq 85x and Enyaq RS versions can now be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes – eight minutes or 22 per cent faster than before – at a rate of up to 175 kW. The maximum charging rate for the rear-wheel-drive Enyaq 85 remains unchanged at 135 kW. The new battery pre-conditioning feature preheats the battery in preparation for DC charging in low ambient temperatures and thus optimises charging speed. The process can be started manually, by pressing a button on the central infotainment display, or automatically on the way to a charging station, based on navigation data and battery temperature.

New vehicle software for increased user-friendliness and safety

New navigation maps and speech-to-text display of voice commands

More comfort and safety with Kessy Walkaway function

Mladá Boleslav, 4 December 2023 – The new software version will come with all 82 kWh battery Enyaq models produced from November 2023 onwards. This latest software release features a revised user interface modelled on the new Škoda CI/CD, an even more intuitive menu structure for the infotainment system and new navigation maps. Upgrades to the Laura digital assistant and the Kessy keyless entry system make for more ease of use, comfort and safety.

New functions and more advanced individualisation courtesy of latest vehicle software

The latest vehicle software featured on all Enyaq models with the 82 kWh battery rolling off the production line from November 2023 provides a wide range of new features. The infotainment system, head-up display and Virtual Cockpit are now modelled on the new Škoda CI. Various features now further enhance ease of use when interacting with the infotainment system. For example, it is now possible to customise “quick access buttons” for various vehicle settings – like the Lane Assist, the windscreen heating or the air recirculation function. Customisation of car apps such as the mobile phone menu or the media player or navigation is also possible. The navigation system comes with new map graphics as well as a larger map area and reorganised submenus. In addition, it is now designed to use the battery pre-conditioning function and can automatically start preheating the battery when the vehicle is heading towards a charging station, depending on the current battery temperature.

Improvements to Laura and Kessy as well as intuitive passenger seat adjustment

The new software also includes improvements to the Laura digital assistant and Kessy keyless entry system. Laura’s voice recognition is now more accurate, and the system can transcribe spoken commands using speech-to-text and display them on the infotainment screen for visual feedback. A new Kessy feature is the Walkaway function. It now automatically locks the doors when the owner moves 2 to 2.5 metres away from the vehicle while carrying the keys. The locked door status is confirmed with an audible signal from the alarm system’s horn. A new seat menu in the infotainment system adds further convenience.

In all Enyaq models with electric seat adjustment, the driver can easily and safely adjust the front passenger seat, for example to accommodate a child seat or to create extra space in the rear.

Intelligent Speed Assist for added safety

The Intelligent Speed Assist adds even more safety and comfort. It uses traffic sign recognition and navigation data to automatically adjust the car’s speed in a more anticipatory and much smoother way, if desired. For example, it continuously and smoothly reduces vehicle speed to the 50 km/h speed limit before entering a built-up area.
