I've been critical of many recent Ferrari designs (especially the California, 458 and F12) and I admit the FF was less than perfectly executed, but it and especially the GTC are such a wonderful throwback to the most beautiful shooting brakes of the 60s and 70s, with dramatic front-mid engined supercar proportions mated to a (somewhat) practical hatchback. They are glorious in being a niche interpretation of what a 4 seater GT should be.

Regardless of how much more successful this Purosangue will be, I am grateful to LCdM for approving such a daring if flawed product.

You still don't get me. The FF was very beautiful and, yes, it had many beautiful nods to the cars of the 60s and 70s, which I love. The thing is that had I the money to buy it, I'd rather buy a Panamera or a 4Porte. It's more luxurious on the inside (I never liked the FF/GTC4 interior), it has rear doors and more luggage space. On the other hand, if I wanted a 2+2 GT Ferrari, I'd buy the Portofino. The FF/GTC4 tried to be a mix of a 2+2 GT and a luxury car and at the end it failed on both ends.

The Purosangue on the other hand is destined to succeed. It may not be as beautiful on the outside but it has a RR-level luxurious interior, rear doors, enough luggage space and ground clearance (crossover) as a bonus. It is a proper luxury car with the signature of Ferrari which is superior to any other (Porsche, Lambo, Aston, McLaren etc)

Quella foto, quel colore giallo, quel patacche sulla carrozzeria non le rendono giustizia. Ma sei troppo bravo e preparato in particolare sull'aspetto del design per non averlo notato anche tu. Ti leggo sempre con piacere.

Anche a me ricorda la EV6. Infatti la prima volta che vidi questo modello della KIA per strada, colore rossa pensai ... "ecco ci siamo, finalmente vedo un muletto quasi definitivo in anteprima. Pregustavo già di fare delle foto e postarle qua. Poi mi sono avvicinato e ho capito la cantonata che avevo preso.

A parte questo, a me sembra venuta fuori veramente bene. Paradossalmente mi ha colpito ancora di più della magnifica, sinuosa, choccante Roma. Proprio perchè la Ferrari in una categoria - i suv o allroad o altro che sia - non nota per il design da capogiro, ci ha dato un modello all'altezza del marchio, che svetta su tutte le altre.

Ma un V12 completamente nuovo alla fine lo hanno cassato oppure debutterà su un altro modello?
