Ancora non si conoscono le specifiche ma Top Gear Philippines riferisce che il Rangga sarà offerto con propulsori turbodiesel, benzina, ibridi e completamente elettrici.

Il lancio sul mercato del Toyota Rangga con specifiche di produzione è previsto per il 2024. Il lancio inizierà dalla Thailandia prima che la disponibilità del camion si espanda ad altri mercati asiatici, inclusa l'Indonesia. I media locali suggeriscono che il veicolo sarà offerto a un prezzo inferiore rispetto al Toyota Hilux, offrendo un'alternativa ai pickup di seconda mano.

Sarei curioso di sapere quanto è lungo e soprattutto largo, perché se è relativamente piccolo come immagino, da noi potrebbe essere il vero sostituto del Porter nei paesi che necessitano di commerciali piccoli e stretti.
