A Milano e Monza un importante concessionario Mercedes ha da un po' di tempo preso anche le MG.

Entri in concessionaria e ti trovi le Mercedes da una parte e nella stessa sala i vari suv MG in pronta consegna.

Ovviamente sulle vetrine e cartelloni esterni compare in bella vista il marchio MG.

Veramente triste sta cosa, pensavo solo nelle concessionarie nelle piccole città, c’è da dire che in passato anche da me Mercedes vendeva Mitsubishi (prima di passare quest’ultima a Koelliker) mentre la Jaguar Land Rover ha un bellissimo show room molto scenografico che ora vende anche Sportequipe 🥲

There are also top technologies such as the adaptive, glare-free Intelli-Lux Matrix light and numerous assistance systems that make daily commutes easier and, above all, safer. From now on, the compact van will be even more versatile: Opel customers can now also choose the Combo as a practical all-wheel drive vehicle in two vehicle lengths. The Opel Combo 4x4, developed in collaboration with the renowned all-wheel drive specialist Dangel, shines as a universally applicable “workhorse” that meets the highest demands in terms of flexibility and safety.

 

Whether in an urban environment, on demanding off-road routes or on steep climbs: the new Combo 4x4 impresses with its innovative technology and clever equipment.

 

Clever system: Automatic 4x4 activation for optimal traction

The new Combo Cargo 4x4 is equipped with an intelligent all-wheel drive system that is automatically activated when necessary. As soon as the vehicle detects a loss of grip, the all-wheel drive switches on, ensuring optimal distribution of the drive power. The power of the efficient 96 kW (130 hp) turbodiesel, which works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission, is not distributed between the front and rear axles as with a conventional all-wheel drive. In the Combo 4x4, the electric rear axle provides the additional torque for propulsion. This means the new Combo 4x4 always ensures optimal safety and control – even in difficult driving conditions.

 

However, the all-wheel drive system is not the only feature that makes the new Combo 4x4 the ideal companion on construction sites and in impassable terrain. Its robust design also takes “challenging” requirements into account. These include special mudguards for the engine, gearbox and fuel tank and 90 millimetres more ground clearance compared to its FWD counterparts. The all-wheel drive version is available in vehicle lengths L1 (4,401 millimetres) and L2 (4,751 millimetres).

 

Efficient solution: Electrical support and autonomous recharging

As with all models, Opel also attaches great importance to the company's “Greenovation” approach with the Combo 4x4, i.e. the development of resource-saving solutions. Another highlight of the new Opel Combo 4x4 is the electrical support system. The vehicle has a self-sufficient 48-volt battery pack with 4.8 kWh capacity. The system allows two selectable modes with different rear axle torques. This means the new Combo 4x4 can maximise its efficiency and performance. Autonomous recharging also ensures the energy supply to the all-wheel drive system.

 

Practical feel-good cabin: Smartphone station, digital rearview mirror, etc.

To make daily work trips more pleasant, Opel has further improved the cockpit and ergonomic handling of the latest Combo generation and made them even more user-friendly. The infotainment systems with two 10-inch colour screens enable state-of-the-art graphics, multimedia and connectivity functions.

 

Compatible smartphones can be connected and charged wirelessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Alternatively, drivers can use their own smartphone as an infotainment system via the innovative smartphone station and operate it using the steering wheel buttons.

 

In addition, the compact van offers – depending on the variant – up to 18 state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. The highlight is the Dynamic Surround View. The system consists of two cameras, one above the rear doors and the other under the passenger exterior mirror. The images captured by the cameras are displayed in the new digital rearview mirror. While driving, the driver can see the area behind the rear; If he activates the turn signal lever, he can see the blind spot that is normally on the side.

 

Equipped with advanced technologies and extremely spacious, the Combo becomes an everyday hero for a wide range of tasks. And thanks to automatic 4x4 activation, electric assistance and increased ground clearance, the Combo Cargo 4x4 effortlessly tackles steep climbs as well as challenging and rough terrain.

Ah ma è un 4xe, quindi sarà il 1.2 neanche il 1.5 diesel. Che peccato.

Io leggo 96kW turbodiesel quindi dovrebbe essere proprio il 1.5

E hai ragione, devono essere impazziti allora. Davo per scontato non si mettessero a fare un nuovo abbinamento dell'ibrido col diesel. Beh chissà che questo non porti ad un ibrido diesel, senza 4xe, anche sulle vetture.

Questa è trasformata da Dangel, che trasforma gia i Ducato e Scudo, quindi costerà minimo 7/8 mila euro in più

Esatto, è una soluzione progettata e venduta da terze parti, anche per convertire veicoli già esistenti. Dangel è specializzato da anni nel realizzare versioni 4X4 dei veicoli PSA, e PSA ha sempre patrocinato l'iniziativa visto che non esisteva un equivalente versione ufficiale. Nell'ambito dell'accordo PSA-Fiat sui commerciali ha anche dato vita per un breve periodo al Ducato 4x4 regolarmente a listino. Però come detto si tratta di conversioni allestite in aftermarket, quindi il prezzo è fuori scala.

Mi pare comunque di aver letto che questo assale elettrificato Dangel (concettualmente simile ma non imparentato con quello delle CMP) dovrebbe essere compatibile con tutte le motorizzazioni. Inoltre, nei mesi a venire arriverà anche sui van medi e sui grandi.
