Škoda Octavia: Refreshing the brand’s best-seller

Mladá Boleslav, 14 February 2024 – Škoda Auto is updating the hatchback and estate versions of its iconic Octavia. With more than 7 million units sold, it is by far the brand’s best-selling model. Its fourth modern generation has now been given a freshened look that includes a revised Škoda grille and new second‑generation LED Matrix beam headlights. Customers benefit from even more comprehensive standard equipment like a 10-inch Digital Display or dual-zone Climatronic. On top of that, the share of sustainable materials inside the car has increased. Further safety and assistance systems enhance active and passive safety and a new range structure provides additional individualisation options.

Bei sedili. Ho dato un'occhiata al configuratore della uscente e questi sono molto più appariscenti.

Skoda ormai ha preso il posto di VW in quel segmento ibrido fra generalista e premium.

La Passat dei tempi che furono.

Detto ciò, è carina, è funzionale, è noisetta e punta molto su sedili e interni cattivelli per le versioni sportive.

 

Le cose fighe e funzionali che Skoda aveva presentato recentemente (parlo di quei rotori fisici e multifunzione dotati di display) qui non trovano applicazione: li han levati subito   (si vede che erano una menata costosa).

 

I prodotti Van, ultimamente, mi scaldano meno di zero... anche se forse preferirei una Skoda a qualsiasi Peugeot o Citroen

Effettivamente, nella sola vista di 3/4 posteriore, ha delle risonanze con serie 3 😂
E forse, anteriormente, ha dei punti di contatto con serie 5.

Anche perché tra l'altro non è veramente una sedan, ma una fastback a 5 porte, con tutti i vantaggi in termini di praticità che si porta dietro una soluzione di questo tipo.

IMHO la Octavia è una delle poche VAG che dovrebbero essere tenute a listino per sempre.
