Il secondo modello di HiPhi, ramo automotive dell aHuman Horizons, la "Z" parte fra poco sul mercato. Overall, the design is brilliant: wide wheel arches, a spoiler that floats above the boot lid, a full-width LED light unit, and a strangely simple black bumper. The HiPhi Z gets rear wheels that can steer or counter-steer up to 13.2 degrees. Additionally, the sedan is equipped with a (semi-)autonomous driving system that consists of smart software, 34 sensors, and the necessary radar systems. The interior doesn’t disappoint, either. There is no instrument panel, but it has a HUD. However, what catches the eye is the screen. Instead of boring icons positioned along horizontal and vertical axes, the Z uses a 3D cube that holds all the apps. The driver can rotate the cube with his fingers to get to the needed app. At the top are the main indicators like speed, navigation, and range. At the bottom, you’ll find a few fixed buttons for the air conditioning system. The screen is bolted on a robotic arm, able to swirl and turn around in all directions. The system is called the HiPhi Bot and turns itself to the person who speaks. So if the driver gives a command, the screen turns towards them, and the same happens when the passenger gives a command. To top it off, the screen can also move to the music rhythm played on the car’s 23-speaker Meridan audio system. While the HiPhi Z has the same powertrain as the X, it gets a larger battery: a 120 kWh unit good for a range of 705 kilometers NEDC. There are two powertrain options. The first is a single motor, rear-wheel drive capable of producing 300 hp and 410 Nm. Alternatively, users can go for the dual motor, four-wheel drive. with 600 hp and 820 Nm. With the dual-motor setup, the Z goes from 0-100 in just 3.8 seconds. (CNC)

...forse ci sara...ma ci sono due via per arrivare al equivalente...abassare il prezzo futuro di una bev ad un prezzo ice di oggi oppure aumentare il prezzo di una ice al livello delle bev. Personalmente credo piu che vedremmo la seconda via.

Perche una brand come Toyota o VW ha successo globale, una Fiat o Peugeot nemmeno a casa in Europa? Tutto sistema paese..certo...ho gia sentito spiegazioni migliori. e, b.t.w....sistema paese, cosa e ??

In parte hai sicuramente ragione, ma d'altra parte come e spiegabile che un marchio come Peugeot 1990 ha avuto una quota mercato europeo di 8,2%, oggi invece solo 5,7% e un brand "nuovo" come Hyundai e cresciuto da 0,14% a 4,7%, una Kia da zero a 5% oppure Toyota da 2,6% a 6.9%. Naturalmente anche questo effetto del brand, ma in senso che la esperienza di clienti e i loro passaparola ha influenzato il brand in modo positivo o negativo. Quando ero bambino, in Germania era la aforisma "...la Peugeot e la Mercedes francese...", una cosa che oggi non dice assolutamente nessuno. Oggi come avversari futuri per un brand tedesco premium sono/saranno marchi asiatici come Polestar, Genesis o Nio, forse anche perche una maggioranza di possibile clienti ha esperienza positiva con altri prodotti/settori asiatici e cosi questa "positivita" si trasferisce anche sul prodotto automotive.

A lighthouse project at the southern tip of Chile: Production starts at the world’s first industrial-scale facility for carbon-neutral fuel Start of production at the Haru Oni pilot plant in southern Chile marks a milestone in decarbonizing the transportation sector Siemens Energy is working with HIF Global, Porsche, and other partners to make carbon-neutral fuel from wind power and water at industrial scale Certificate confirms produced fuel is sustainable Production begins today at the world’s first fully integrated facility for making carbon-neutral, synthetic fuels. The Haru Oni plant, near the city of Punta Arenas in southern Chile, combines wind power, water, and CO2 to make e-methanol and ultimately electricity-based carbon-neutral gasoline. Siemens Energy designed and led the system integration of HIF Global’s pilot plant in collaboration with Porsche and other partners. The start of production of the first eFuels is a key step forward in decarbonizing the transportation sector, especially those segments that are difficult or impossible to electrify, like marine and aviation, or internal combustion engine cars that are still in use. Siemens Energy Managing Board Member Anne-Laure de Chammard stated:( "The Haru Oni project aims to demonstrate that eFuels can be brought to market in large quantities and at competitive prices. It lays the foundation for bringing green energy to areas that are still heavily dependent on fossil fuels. This is key to achieving the climate goals of the transportation sector. The knowledge gained from this project will also help develop climate-friendly solutions for many other applications.” By March 2023, the plant will be completed in less than two years in Magallanes province in Chile’s southern Patagonia region. As the co-developer and systems integrator, Siemens Energy has played a major role in designing this lighthouse project. Hydrogen, the basis of the fuel synthesis process, is produced in an electrolyzer from Siemens Energy. The wind turbine came from Siemens Gamesa. The project’s big challenge was to combine process steps for making synthetic fuels that had previously only been tested individually, and to coordinate them in a production chain for the first time in an efficient and trouble-free way. That integration is the basis for the ramp-up for eFuel production. The system is expected to produce 130,000 liters of eFuel per year by 2023. After the pilot phase, the first scaling will take the project in Chile up to a projected 55 million liters per year by the middle of the decade. Around two years later the capacity is expected to be 550 million liters per year. The project is tapping Patagonia’s vast potential of renewable energy to assist the hydrogen economy, and thus the energy transition in Europe and around the world. The windy region offers as much as 6,000 full-load hours of operation for generating green electricity, around three times the amount available in Europe. Wind power is stored in liquid energy carriers using the power-to-X process. Those liquids are easy to transport out of a region with lots of renewable energy to places that are hungry for energy. Haru Oni is doing pioneering work here and may serve as a role model for many other regions around the world. It enjoys support from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action: in 2020, Haru Oni became the first hydrogen project to be funded as part of Germany’s national hydrogen strategy. The project is the first to apply the Clean Energy Certification solution developed by the TÜV Süd testing NGO and the German Energy Agency (DENA) in collaboration with Siemens Energy. That digital certificate provides fake-proof documentation that a product has earned the right to be called “green.” For a product to receive the certificate, the carbon footprint is documented for the first time across the entire production chain – in the case of eFuels, that means from the wind turbine to filling the tank. The certified e-gasoline from the Chilean plant will meet the EU’s requirements for sustainable fuels. (SiemensEnergy / Porsche)

VW shuffles top purchasing posts amid supply chain disruption The changes come after a top executive said the automaker is suffering "flat-out chaos" in the supply chain. Volkswagen Group is restructuring leadership of its procurement functions to better cope with supply chain disruption. Audi's procurement and IT boss, Dirk Grosse-Loheide, is promoted to head group procurement. He will also and take over from Murat Aksel as procurement chief for the VW passenger cars brand. Aksel will join the management board of VW's MAN Truck & Bus subsidiary, taking over from Stefan Gramse, who will move to a group function at VW, the automaker said in a statement on Tuesday. At Audi, Große-Loheide will continue to oversee procurement functions and IT until his successor is appointed. VW Group CEO Oliver Blume said Große-Loheide's task will be to further stabilize the group's supply chains in close collaboration with suppliers. One of the key tasks assigned to Aksel at MAN will be to further stabilize the company’s supply chains, which continue to be strained during the continuing ramp-up of truck production for heavy commercial vehicles, Blume added. Aksel, a former BMW executive, has been VW's chief purchasing officer since January 2021. The changes will come into effect on Jan. 1, VW said. Like most automakers, VW has suffered delivery bottlenecks and production stops because of shortages of semiconductors and other components. Earlier this month, VW brand chief Thomas Schaefer said the company's Wolfsburg plant is building well under 400,000 cars a year, less than half its capacity, because of "flat-out chaos" in the supply chain. Boiler bisogna molto piu tempo per riscaldare a temperatura regime (minimo 30 minuti), invece scambiatore e a temperatura nominale entro <5min. Anche a lungo termine una boiler, spesso acceso e spento soffre piu come un scambiatore. Se lasci acceso la macchina per ore, poi una boiler e meglio, ma se hai acceso la macchina solo per colazione e dopo pranzo e cena, poi secondo me un boiler non e il mezzo giusto, hai un parecchio consumo a lungo termine. La tecnia boiler e fatta per usura bar o anche ufficio, dove la macchine e acceso quasi tutto il giorno. Se parli con i barista, poi ci sono tante che ti dicono, che non spendono mai la macchina.

...scusa...ma c'e un errore? Oppure fai solo race starts ad ogni semaforo e vai solo con 220km/h sulla autostrada? Perche normalmente con un 2.0 diesel e impossibile di consumare 17l/100km (e un consumo V8 benzina), gia con 10l/100 hai un piede molto pesante.

Ho da molti anni come macchina una Quickmill Cassiopea 3004 (due scambiatori di calore) e come macina una Quamar Q50E e con entrambi sono molto contento, niente problemi.

..non credo che e una macchina interna (macchine di questa eta normalmente usa solo la "Sparte Tradition" 😉), il trasporto delle macchine di prova in gran parte e in outsourcing, molto probabile e un prestatore di servizo trasporto.

Alfa Romeo's U.S. growth plan prioritizes quality, satisfied customers Alfa Romeo is laying the groundwork for its expansion plans with a focus on delivering experiences fitting of the luxury segment. Alfa Romeo will focus on the driving experience when it launches the Tonale in the U.S. next year. Alfa Romeo's growth plan in the U.S. over the next decade involves doing away with internal combustion engines by 2027. The Italian brand is laying the groundwork for this expansion now with a focus on delivering experiences to consumers that are fitting of the luxury segment. It's not a numbers game. Alfa says it's thinking about much more than volume at this point in its U.S. comeback. Customer satisfaction and vehicle quality are arguably "more important" to the brand than sales as it works to build momentum in the U.S., said Vincent Noirbent, vice president of product planning and transformation for Alfa in North America. Noirbent said the brand has a 10-year plan in place and is financially stable. It wants to hold down the role as Stellantis' global premium brand, he said, with Maserati as a higher-end option that won't overlap. Alfa's North America leader, Larry Dominique, told Automotive News in February that the brand is chasing stability, customer satisfaction and dealer profitability. Alfa's dedication to boosting the customer experience is bearing fruit. It topped the J.D. Power Sales Satisfaction Index in November by moving up nine places. Its 25-point improvement was the biggest among premium brands. "Internally, we have our processes," Noirbent said this month. "We work closely with our network, the factory, so we know where we're going, we know where we're headed, we see our [key performance indicators] increasing. Now you get that sort of reward. "I mean, that was like the greatest reward you can have as a team. Now, when you're No. 1, there's only one way [to go], so it is never-ending. We need to make sure that next year we repeat that. We need to make sure that we perfect our processes." While Alfa hones the customer experience, it's also welcoming new product. It's preparing to launch the Tonale plug-in hybrid, its first electrified model, in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2023. The Tonale’s 275-hp plug-in hybrid drivetrain combines a 1.3-liter, four-cylinder 177-hp gasoline engine with a 122-hp (90 kW) electric motor. The brand had planned to sell the hybrid Tonale alongside a conventional gasoline version but decided instead to sell it only as a plug-in for the U.S. Noirbent said the brand thinks there's enough demand for electrified options to support the upcoming compact utility vehicle. "The market has moved quite dramatically also, for the past few months," Noirbent said. "It looks like the moment is ripe for us to say, 'Let's go for that.' " Alfa doesn't plan to play up the Tonale's electrified technology in its marketing. Noirbent said the plug-in capabilities are an added benefit and that the vehicle will be marketed a "true Alfa Romeo." Incentive pullback Don't expect to see discounts on the Tonale — or any Alfa product — to drive sales. Noirbent said the brand doesn't have a "volume-driven strategy" and has pulled back on incentives. He said it would rather have a "sound business" than supercharge sales numbers with artificial sweeteners. VINCE BOND JR. Greg Travaline, who owns South Miami Alfa Romeo-Fiat, said Dominique has centered his attention on raising the brand image so consumers are willing to pay more. Vehicle quality is a point of emphasis, he said. Dominique wants to "make the cars right first, make the experience better and build the value of the brand, so somebody will pay an extra $100 a month," Travaline told Automotive News. "We have lagged on sales, but we hope eventually it's going to turn full circle. We've got Tonale coming out. The future of Alfa — hopefully from there, it's going to be bright." (ANE)

..temo che in un mondo elettrico fa senso, perche non sara grande differenza tra le macchine, sono tutti su skatebord, hanno tutti batterie che danno un baricentro molto in basso, hanno un peso alto e 2, 3 o 4 motori con potenza di picco piu o meno enorme e una mostrosa capacita di computing per regolare tutto, ma carattere specifiche non saranno piu.

E una macchina concept e sopratutto sperimentale per esplorare le possibilita e i limiti di una configurazione a quattro motori elettrici. Naturalmente con 4 motori regolati indipendenti ci sono completamente nuove possibilita per la dinamica sopratutto laterale di una macchina.

Per non fa senso di produrre le piccole diesel con fari nuovi e il modello top della gamma con vecchia technologia. marketing abbastanza debole ecetto se hanno in petto qualcosa nuove per la Q come fari laser.
