Esatto - costruito da GraetWall su foglio bianco e l'esempio delle vite e molto buono, perche neanche loro sono lo standard usato in BMW.

Proprietor transfers control of cable-car expertise firm, Leoni, to Chinese entities In 2022, the German cable harness company Leoni, renowned for its work in the automotive industry, was saved from bankruptcy through insolvency proceedings. The new major shareholder, Luxshare, a Chinese electronics supplier, nabbed 50.1% of Leoni's shares, as well as the entire cable division. Leoni's CEO, Stefan Pierer, described Luxshare as the ideal partner to ensure Leoni's long-term success. The total purchase price was revealed to be 320 million euros by Luxshare. Luxshare, based in Shenzhen, manufactures items such as computer cables and components for brands like Apple. Their expertise in fields like connectors and electronics can now be leveraged by Leoni to offer more integrated solutions. The use of modular cable harnesses has been on the rise in the automotive industry, especially for electric vehicles. Luxshare's CEO, Grace Wang, claimed that this collaboration with Leoni is a significant leap towards becoming a global leader in the automotive industry. Just before the year's end in 2022, Leoni was on the brink of selling its cable division, but the deal fell through. The company was heavily in debt and sought protection from insolvency through a pre-insolvency restructuring procedure. In this process, Pierer became the sole owner. This was the first instance where the Company Reorganization and Restructuring Act (StaRUG) was utilized in a publicly traded company. As a result, the shareholders suffered financial losses. The economic difficulties faced by Leoni had threatened its survival in the automotive industry, but the insolvency proceedings and the subsequent investment from Luxshare helped to revitalize the economy of the company. With Luxshare's expertise in electronics and connectors, Leoni is well positioned to offer more advanced and integrated solutions in the growing market for modular cable harnesses in the automotive industry, particularly for electric vehicles, contributing to the overall growth of the economy.

Italy cuts funding for Stellantis, Mercedes EV battery factory Italy says ACC failed to provide a clear timetable for the development of the plant ACC has paused preparatory work on a site in Termoli, Italy. The Italian government is cutting funds to Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz electric-vehicle battery plant, a project which has faced delays due to a slowdown in EV demand in Europe. Public funds originally allocated to Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a whose shareholders include the two automakers, will be shifted to other green energy initiatives after the company failed to provide a clear timetable for the development of the plant, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso said on Sept. 17. ACC, which had laid plans to build three battery factories in Europe for a total investment of €7 billion ($7.8 billion), has paused preparatory work on a site in Termoli, on the eastern coast of Italy. It has also stopped construction in Kaiserslautern, southwest Germany. ACC will discuss again with the government funding plans in the first half of next year, CEO Yann Vincent said in a phone interview. Stellantis will continue building motors in the Termoli plant until 2028 to help mitigate the impact from the battery factory delay, a representative for the company said. Giorgia Meloni’s government and Stellantis have been clashing in recent months after the automaker announced plans to cut jobs in Italy due to an industry-wide slow-down in demand. Last week, Stellantis said it is planning to halt production of the electric Fiat 500 model in Turin, Italy over the next month due to a lack of orders in Europe. (ANE)

Stellantis opposes any delay in EU's 2025 CO2 emissions target Stellantis is against a proposal by industry group ACEA for the EU to use emergency regulation to delay its latest emissions target. Carlos Tavares: Stellantis is ready to meet EU emissions targets "and so now it's time to have a race." Stellantis is pushing back against any move by the European Union to delay emissions targets set to take effect next year, setting up a potential clash with other automakers in the region. "It would be surreal to change the rules now," CEO Carlos Tavares told Agence-France Presse. A spokesman for Stellantis confirmed the comments and provided a company statement in support of keeping the current regulation. The statement calls for continued government subsidies for consumers toward the purchase of electric vehicles. "Everyone has known about the rules for a long time and has had time to prepare, and so now it's time to have a race," Tavares said in the interview published on Sept. 12. Tavares said Stellantis has readied EVs and put in place the means to sell them. The EU rules target overall CO2 fleet emissions of about 95 grams per km in 2025, down from 106.6 g/km in 2023. ACEA, the European automakers lobby group, has drafted a proposal to ask the EU to use emergency regulation to delay its 2025 emissions target for automakers by two years. Meeting the target would require automakers to either halt production of about 2 million cars or be exposed to fines that could reach €13 billion ($14 billion) for passenger cars and another €3 billion for vans, according to ACEA estimates contained in the draft of the document and seen by Bloomberg. The president of ACEA, Renault CEO Luca de Meo, has also said he would like to see more EU flexibility on the rules. Tavares pulled Stellantis out of ACEA in 2022 and the automaker said on Sept. 12 that it has organized itself to comply by lowering costs, rolling out new models and facing competition from Chinese manufacturers and Tesla. In a Sept. 12 statement on its website, ACEA said that the EU automotive industry "has invested billions in electrification to put vehicles on the market, but the other necessary ingredients for this transition are not in place and the competitiveness of the EU is eroding." Europe's auto sector is struggling with cheaper models from China, high energy costs and slow consumer demand, with sales remaining well below pre-pandemic levels. (ANE)
