Sorry I'm posting in english. Maybe it has already been mentioned, so I appologise in advance. Have the brakes gone horribly wrong on this one (I'm talking about the black marks on the wheels) or is it me? To me this is the most exciting topic in months. Can't wait for the video! Keep it up...

As far as I could understand, all GTA would get V8 engines only 169 & Supercars would get the enlarged version with 500 BHP instead of 425 BHP...

Will that be w/ a Manual, Selespeed or automatic gear box? I'll pass an order on Monday if the first or the second are available. Will we really have to wait until October 2007 (according to italiaspeed)?

If you allow me to precise Uniair... The variable valve opening will regulate the amount of air that will get into the cylinder. On "conventional" petrol engines this is regulated by a butterfly valve (thus regulating the throttle). There is no butterfly on UNIAIR engines any more... It's an impressive system, and I agree it's a revolution ! speedmind.

Just read it and as you said, MALAKIES... I'm betting any money that he drove the 2.2 and the engine sounded so good, he thought it was a V6 speedmind.

Hi Saki, Having read & seen the press arround europe (French, British, German) I must say that I'll never trust a journalist's word EVER. The French will trash any other car than their own, so will the Germans and the Brits. It's human nature... When I read a comparison in a magazine I'm always amazed by the pros & cons section: the floormats are not soft enough, the interior lighting is not bright enough and other bullshit like that. You very rarely see "cons: NONE" in that section. What I'm trying to say is that sometimes journalists tend to use the know it all (or academic) approach where the perfect solution is nonexistent. Journalists will always come with a critisism on a particular car. Stratis (??????? ???????????????) the journalist in question is in my opinion definetly one of those "perfectionists". OK he's taken parts in some courses so he knows how to handle a car, but this does not mean that HE can evaluate the car that I will drive; the only judge for that is me. Finally, I would tend to put this journalist's words into perspective for one more reason: if the 159 is not yet ready he can only have driven a pre-production one, so it can be that the version he's driven is not fully tuned yet. As a journalist he must have known that, so he sould have put his words into perspective instead of going: ha, ha, ha, I've driven the 159 before anyone else, but it's no good. speedmind.

speedcamera is not necessarily a good thing you know, they have the tendancy to flash only when you go to fast

the 159 on the far end is the one with the 18" posted earlier today. As far as I could see, there was only one Brera. There was a new mini-van however that arrived just as was leaving, so more is to come... I don't speak Italian, technology does this for me. Here's what it looks like... i 159 sull'estremità lontana sono oggi quello con il più in anticipo inviato 18". Lontano come potrei vedere, ci era soltanto un Brera. Ci era un nuovo mini-furgone tuttavia che è arrivato appena come stava andando, in modo da più deve venire... Non parlo italiano, tecnologia mi faccio questo per. Qui è a che cosa assomiglia...

Yes it is the Uproad indeed, I forgot to mention it, sorry I've also seen a 147 GTA red with a white cross on the roof (some swiss version I presume)...

My brother took these pictures at Autoexpert in Geneva (Meyrin). It's the place where you can buy used cars, and the hall has been temporarily converted to a preparation hall for the cars that will be put on display (i.e.: neon lights for the interior, external battery power, etc). By the way I took the pictures of the 159 & the interior of the Croma. I hope I answered your question.

This is some massive hangar, but as far as I could see no Brera, sorry... There was however this outside the building: what are these plates ? Might this be some mule?

yes, the interior is going to be as promissed (I presume : ), the seats had a very thin profile.
