si vede solo che la parte alta della plancia ha lo stesso disegno della quattroporte (con la V che va a incidere sul rivestimento in radica della console centrale). Probabilmente sarà un'evoluzione in chiave più sportiva degli interni della quattroporte. Mi pare simile anche la palpebra che copre la strumentazione principale (almeno concettualmente) ...

lo dovrai proprio infilzare, perché il 10cilindri e il 5cilindri suo figlio sono entrambi alimentati con l'iniettore pompa. il 1715 direi che è a pompa rotativa (se non l'hanno aggiornato). Anche il 1896 aspirato. So che ci sarà anche un nuovo 2.0 16v aspirato...

Maserati - in its first years under Ferrari's direction - shortened the Coupe's wheelbase to stiffen the chassis and removed its (albeit tiny) rear seats. The result was hailed by 4Car at the time as the Trident's 'renaissance car'. These shots show a prototype of the next all-new Spyder, tabled for launch late next year or summer 2006. According to some reports, the new supercar will ride on a version of the Quattroporte saloon's LM139 platform, tweaked for a sportier ride. That platform may also underpin the Kubang off-roader, though doubts over the 4x4's viability have recently emerged. The non-turbo 4.2-litre Ferrari-sourced V8 will be bumped up to 5.0 litres, says one source, and kick out as much as 470bhp - a good 90bhp more than the current model. The existing Spyder already cracks 60mph in under 5 seconds and can storm on to 175mph, so Maserati is serious with its next drop-top. Although the Cambiocorsa six-speed F1-style gearbox could continue on, rumours have a dual-clutch DSG-style 'box making an appearance within the next two years. Maserati's advanced Skyhook suspension damping should be redeveloped, too. Camoflaged body: With such heavily-camouflaged body panels, it would be foolish to speculate on what the finished car will look like. Some trademark Maser qualities still shine through, however - such as the long bonnet to house the V8, and the stubby tail. Those round taillights are just tack-on items, though (and more Ferrari than Maser, anyhow). We'll probably see an evolution of the current car's quarter-circle lamps later on. Roof over your head: A hard-top has been fixed on to this test mule, but shouldn't be an indication that the previously soft-top Spyder is destined for an SL-type folding metal roof. Nor does this presage how the Coupe might appear when that rolls out, round about the same time.

Maserati told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration it discovered the problem after six customers complained of a “knocking noise” in the steering assembly. Analysis revealed two of four securing bolts might have been installed before locking compound was applied to the threads. Maserati’s filing says, “The affected bolts may loosen slightly if the vehicle is driven aggressively over an extended period of time, and in certain situations the driver could lose steering control and crash.” Maserati reports no accidents as a result of the defect. About 2000 vehicles are affected.
