  4. questa pare sia un Targa camuffata da autobild.de da autocarmagazine.co.uk These exclusive spy shots show that Porsche’s 911 Targa is alive and well, despite persistent rumours that it could soon be phased out. It’s been suggested that the current 996-series version of the car will not be replaced when the new 997-series came fully on stream at Porsche’s Zuffenhausen factory. But the pictures show that there will indeed be a 997 Targa and that it is only a matter of months away from arriving in the showroom. Despite attempts at disguising the car’s distinctive side elevation, the flash of chrome along the top of the doors shows the side window to be different shape to the coupé’s. Another giveaway is the rear wiper: on the Targa the arm is much straighter and the pivot sits in a different position. One intriguing theory doing the rounds explaining why the 997 uses the same roof as the previous 911 (right) is that it allowed the company to carry over the old sunroof, targa and cabrio roof unchanged. This saves a lot of money, as these mechanisms are particularly complex and difficult to engineer.

    spot c4 - spettacolare!

Riporto qui da un topic negli scoops... --->FILMATO<--- from Citroën.co.uk Citroën C4's transformer dance How do you make a car dance? Hire hit making superstar Justin Timberlake’s choreographer, Marty Kudelka, cyber scan a brand new Citroën C4 using lasers to create a perfect 3D model and spend two months using the latest film industry animation techniques as used by the likes of Pixar to create a car/transformer with all the right moves. The resulting 30 second TV commercial was conceived by the Citroën creative team at agency Euro RSCG’s London office, produced by Spy Films in Toronto, with animation undertaken by Vancouver based post production vfx house, the Embassy. Set to Jacques Your Body (make me sweat) by electronic dance-pop outfit, Les Rythmes Digitales, Marty Kudelka, with motion sensors placed all over his body to record every move, did 30 separate takes of the dance, one of which is faithfully reproduced by the car/transformer. “It was certainly an unusual challenge. I tried to imagine myself as a robot with mechanical movements to capture how it would realistically move, which parts would bend and overlap, and then simply let myself go. Effectively, I became a transformer, listened to the music and let the dance flow,” said Mr Kudelka. The animation team, under director Neill Blomkamp of Spy Films, who was acknowledged at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival as best up and coming non-European director, then worked flat out to create a transformer with the moves. “Building a transformer which could believably move like a dancer was the ultimate challenge,” said Blomkamp. “The Citroën C4 is a car which really stands out from the crowd, and it demands an advertising approach which really drives this home as well as leaving the viewer in no doubt that this is the most technologically advanced car in its class. In fact you could say this car is alive with technology,” said Alain Favey, Managing Director of Citroën UK Ltd. C4 will be available in choice of 13 hatchback and nine coupé models and features advanced technologies such as digital read outs for driver information, fixed centre steering wheel with multi function controls, a lane departure warning system, a programmable speed limiter and even an on-board air freshener system enabling owners to vary the scent in the car to suit their mood. The commercial breaks on Britain's TV screens on November 15th, the Citroën C4's UK on-sale date, and the multi million pound campaign runs right through to the end of December.

  11. immagini da autotelegraaf.nl testo da autoweek.com The Jeep Gladiator marks the resurrection of a Jeep pickup nameplate not heard from since the 1960s, and a body-style absent from the company’s lineup since the death of the ’80s-era Comanche. The Gladiator is built on a unique platform but takes the simple style trail to strongly resemble the production Renegade. Senior vice president for design Trevor Creed says to expect “a lot in a short time” from Jeep’s corner of the DaimlerChrysler universe, and while DC officials deny the Gladiator is intended for production (natch), Creed’s statement, along with the development of a new platform and the Gladiator’s subdued familial cues, imply a production version might very well be on the cards. The Gladiator draws power from a 163-hp version of the 2.8-liter common rail turbo-diesel I4 engine now available in the Liberty, with torque rated at a strong 295 lb-ft. Part-time four-wheel-drive is transferred to the wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Other trick features include a rear-seat access hatch on the driver’s side, a full passenger-side rear door, drop-down rear glass and an expandable cargo bed. In normal configuration, the bed measures 5 feet 6 inches long; with a simple manual process, the rear seat slides beneath the bed and the entire rear bulkhead slides along rails forward into the cab to grow the bed to 8 feet. The Gladiator also features a canvas top similar to the Renegade’s, which may be folded back partially for a sun-roof effect, or removed completely.
  12. immagini da autotelegraaf.nl testo da autoweek.com [...] is based on the V10 Viper’s architecture but uses the 6.1-liter, 425 hp, 420-lb-ft Hemi V8 that will see first light in the forthcoming 300C SRT-8. Again, officials say there are no production plans, but envision the car, which is reminiscent of Ford’s Shelby GR-1 concept, occupying the space between the Crossfire and (in theory) the ME412 in Chrysler’s performance portfolio. Though the car is Viper-based—and Creed referenced Chevrolet’s Corvette as a key competitor (again, in theory)—the designers envision “Firepower” as more grand tourer than outright sports car; hence the softened suspension and five-speed automatic transmission. Brakes are 14-inch Brembos at all four corners, and the huge rubber measures 275/35 R19 up front, 335/30 R20 in back. Engineers estimate the car is capable of bolting from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds or less, and a 185 mph top speed. Whether either car ever meets a production line, Chrysler has produced two concepts that would fill obvious holes in both Jeep’s and its own product lineup; don’t be surprised to see executives keeping careful watch on public reaction at Detroit in January.

  14. l'articolo relativo alle foto: da channel4/4car Spy Shot: Honda Civic 2006 Here are the first shots of the 2006 Honda Civic: lower-slung, sportier and altogether less MPV-like than the current car. Expect three- , four- and five-door versions in Europe, and we may also get a Coupe - said to have an S2000-like long nose - this next time around. The European and American versions will share far more components in the new range, in a bid to cut production costs. Hot Type-R and fuel-saving hybrid versions are certain. aggiungo questo 3/4 posteriore da autorevue.cz

  20. NON sono photoshop, ma concept ufficiali in particolare la 75 coupé in commemorazione del centenario della rover: Britishness, understated elegance and always an interior that is undeniably 'a better place to be' are Rover virtues that have come together in the Rover 75 Coupe concept car. The company's design team wanted to mark the first 100 years of the Rover marque with a stylish design that would sit confidently as the latest in the line of renowned Rovers like the P4, the handsome P5 coupe, the innovative P6 2000 model and the bold SD1 hatchback. This has been achieved in the form of the Rover 75 Coupe concept - a beautiful and elegant two-door expression of the stylish 75 Saloon. The concept's interior strongly focuses on Yew wood and Tan leather hide introducing the style of designer furniture into the automotive lounge, extending Rover's trademark for a welcoming interior. Peter Stevens, Rover's design director says: "I want people to turn away for a moment from post modern brutalism and to enjoy the elegant and timeless lines of the 75 Coupe's design. The true character of a Rover comes from its ability to present a cosseting environment with comfort and refinement being the high priorities, elements that should be expressed in the form and detailing of the exterior of the car. "Heritage is a great strength for a marque as it gives you the terms of reference and something to build on for the future. That is exactly how we saw the challenge of presenting a Rover concept in its Centenary year."
