  1. Ouch! As always with EMP2 even this EMP2 v3 seems to have very little rear leg room. In addition to this every EMP2 car has a very long, even too long nose, which gives unpleasant side look.
  2. Oh, this is a solution originally planned for Compass MCA.
  3. Dodge has 4 or 5 new cars in the cards. And that's it. It could end up with sedan, Coupe and 2 or 3 SUVs. I don't know how many of them are green lit. The one of them will be in production in less than 18 months. I can say as much. Future of Dodge is not dependent on PSA. They are 100% FCA products.
  4. That's true if you aren't talking about Italian cars.
  5. It's a very interesting article. A lot is truth. And the part where they say that the Alfa is the biggest sounds nice. I would like to be true. In general speech about Alfa Romeo. I was always for Alfa Romeo B-SUV and for C segment Alfas on FWD platforms. Giorgio for C-segment is a non sense. But Alfa shouldn't be just a rebadged Pug, it must offer something more for a driver. IMO, with just Alfa style and badge the risking disasters such as Alfiat 155 or Mito. In the past we had proper FWD Alfas like 147 and 156, I would even add Giulietta to this list. They must be a guide. Alfa B-SUV? If it offers Limited Slip Differential, adjustable suspension, and 1.5 turbo with 200+ HP as options it's fine. Who would ask for more? But id it stops at 1.2 turbo with 130 HP, no LSD and no adjustable suspension it's nothing more than a Pug 2008 or Opel Mokka. It's a lipstick on a pig.
  6. I'm afraid that French guy looks at Alfa as on the fashion object.
  7. And how many Grand Cherokees? Contrary to what @lukka1982said, based from what I've gathered Dodge will abandon LX and will focus on their own fork of Giorgio platform which internally is bearing a very interesting name. It should provide these E-segment models. And for sure there will be additional Dodge entry level model. I can not say more although I know all technicalities, production site and start of production date. It's on FCA platform.

  9. 3 billions? It can't be. Even the all new factory for the WL75 and WL74 didn't cost that much. It was $1.6 billion which is around €1.3 billion. Redeveloping JNAP from a WK2 (Mercedes ML) platform to a Giorgio Global will cost $900 million which is around €740 million. So combined investment for 2 plants was around €2 billion euros. So @GinaCostanza76got something wrong or he brought something more into calculations.
  10. Casino can make 400k cars? In someone's dreams I guess. Giulia and Stelvio had been set-up for combined 130k cars per year, maybe 140k. It doesn't mean that if you have a big building that building itself is making cars.
  11. That part is correct but actually they've already communicated some things internally and it was less than a month ago. Of course all plans are subject to change.
  12. @Davialfa IMO they should joint Alfa and Maserati together. Similar ethos. DS and Lancia are something very different. At least ne good news. It seems that Imparato comes from a family of Alfisti.
  13. Ralph Gilles will remain the head of Global Design.
  14. Breaking news: Richard Palmer will be the CFO of Stellantis (SEC filing).
  15. No plant closures. Only states may push them to do so. Carlos said that FCA Italy will be CO2 compliant by 2022. Without Tesla. "You'll see", he said. For all of us here who are following FCA it's quite clear for quite some time but French reporter had pushed with his agenda that FCA Italy will not be CO2 capable. Carlos seemed annoyed by this French guy. Fiat (Europe) needs more models and will get more models. And he said that Opel had CO2 issues which is not present at FCA Italy. As we know in the next 2 years FCA Italy brands including Jeep will launch a lot of electrified models. PHEVs, BEVs, but above all cost competitive P2 MHEVs which is a technology currently unavailable on any FWD based car.
  16. Interesting... Some believe that Tavares will rule from Turin which is in contrast to late Marchionne who spent most of his time at Auburn Hills.
  17. Stellantis Surges in Trading Debut After Fiat-PSA Merger https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-18/stellantis-gains-in-first-day-of-trading-after-fiat-psa-merger
  18. I can say that Manley has blessed Attack Of The Clones on FCA platforms. I can not say which products but we should see more products on Small Wide and Giorgio. Some may not like timing of introduction of MHEV technology for Small Wide based cars. But I can confirm that Tipo will receive it.
