  5. Who knows... I presume that P2 MHEV technology will be mated to both 1.0 and 1.5 liter engines. I'm not fan of a small 1.0. Smaller doesn't mean better fuel economy. This new Magna hybrid DCT is non other than ex-Getrag.

  7. I think that we may see return of the 4x4 with MCA. Or are there all in with CO2 reduction? Still MCA should bring Full LED, Uconnect 5 and P2 MHEV.

  10. It should be a BSG 48V MHEV. Desirable versions of ZF 8HP MHEV and PHEV will be available in 2022. PHEV up to 160KW at 350V, MHEV up to 34kW at 52V https://www.zf.com/products/en/cars/products_55041.html

  13. You are too much defending Manley. AFAIK Elkann is not so happy with some of Manley's calls. Than if you say that American market is important freezing of Alfa E-segment SUV program is contradicting. Not to mention that it was related to the next Grand Cherokee. If they wanted they could build it in the USA next to a Grand Cherokee.
  14. This is for front wheel drive based FCA cars. So for upcoming Tonale, also for Renegade, 500X, Tipo and Compass. ZF will stay for rear wheel drive cars. We will see it at the 2nd half of 2021. This is 48V P2 MHEV technology. FCA didn't have plans for 48V BSG/P0 MHEV on their FWD cars. The 2nd important novelty during the calendar 2021 is new engine, 1.5 liter GSE T4 DOHC.
  15. I've asked this some time ago but know I think that it's done deal. FCA will use hybrid Getrag DCT. It's 7HDT300.
  16. Actually at the time of crisis you just invest into the new models. Why? Such car makers will faster rebound after the crisis.

  18. It seems that the new 1.3 liter 130 PS engines is the same one as the new 150 PS engine. Both have maximum torque at just 1560 rpm Previous version with 150/180 PS had maximum torque at 1850 rpm. Are they using smaller turbo on these new engines?
  19. AFAIK on one line in Melfi they are producing Renegade and 500X. On the other one is Compass and Renegade PHEV.
  20. It's drama for North American market. Maybe not in Europe. Eventually 2.0 diesel will be back or it will be replaced by a P2 mild hybrids.
