  2. Unfortunately Stelvio missed SUV of the Year award by a single vote.
  3. It's odd. Wrangler MY2019 is starting production around that date with Pentastar mild hybrid introduction. It's January 2018 for start of production for export. Or Cherokee. New Cherokee (they call it that way) will come into production on 2nd of January 2018. I don't believe they will wait so much for EMEA production.
  4. But put anything vs Polo and it will have bad proportions and proportions are related to platform. Polo's width gives it a presence. But is it to wide for Europe? I don't like one thing. I looked at Quattroruote with Polo review. They said it could replace family compact. And then you have measured interior dimensions. It's no better than 12 years old Grand Punto except for width. And previous Polo was disastrous in interior space. But people buy it. I don't get it.

  6. 48V... The only question left is about electric supercharger. Is there one or not? That's an interesting part. And obviously Americans are or they will not be happy when they hear it. But truth is that European engineer is much cheaper than American. I also have complete trust in Italian engineering superiority even against Germans which are IMO overrated. But also the truth is that FCA has very big R&D spending. The part where Sergio is reluctant are industrialization costs. There are no new models. So... We'll see a lot of new models in the near future (2019-2021 period) or are they abandoning some brands in the future. I don't see another explanation and I'm not believing that Agnelli family is leaving automotive business.
  7. Polo has two advantages which are good for proportions. It's shorter in height and it's wider than Argo. So it could look more sporty. But it's to much conservatively designed.
  8. We in Europe don't have base Jeep models as Americans. Also we have 10% import tariff and VAT. But for comparison. Rubicon Recon in Italy starts from 52.200 euros. Same model in US is around $43.000.
  9. 2-Door Wrangler (JL) 4-Door Wrangler (JLU) Length 166.6 in (2.8 in longer than JK) 188.2 in (3.8 in longer than JKU) Width (w/o mirrors) 73.9 in (0.2 in wider than JK) 73.9 in (0.2 in wider than JKU) Wheelbase 96.8 in (1.4 in longer than JK) 118.4 in (2.4 in longer than JKU) Track 64.4 in (2.5 in wider than JK) 64.4 in (2.5 in wider than JKU) Water Fording Depth 30 in (at 5 mph) (same as JK) 30 in (at 5 mph) (same as JKU)
  10. 2018 JL Unlimited 8 Speed Auto: 18 city, 20 combined, 23 highway vs 2018 JK Unlimited 5 Speed Auto: 16 city, 18 combined, 20 highway 2018 JL Unlimited 6 Speed Manual: 17 city, 19 combined, 23 highway vs 2018 JK Unlimited 6 Speed Manual: 16 city, 18 combined, 21 highway
  11. AFAIK this is just a first step of next generation infotainment systems from FCA. For example Jeep Grand Wagoneer should also have a two screens. One of them will be for climate controls. So a similar solution to new Audi A7 or RR Velar.
  12. IMO, they already have interior in Korean style. Maybe just a little bit better compared to Korean style-wise. But to me it looks like they improved side line a little bit. They improved nose look from the side, to have a look of little shorter front overhang.
  13. AWD vs FWD difference. Is there any model with DCT and AWD? http://www.getrag.com/media/media/datenblaetter/20170310_GETRAG_Data_Sheet_7_Speed_Dual_Clutch_Transmission_7DCT300.pdf
  14. Can you provide complete engine list for Europe. Which models are getting Getrag DCT and which Aisin automatic?
  15. Is 28i only engine for US market?
  16. But when? It's not on all the time. If it is Tha you'll drain a battery pretty quickly.
