The long-awaited Jeep® Wagoneer has finally started it's testing phase. Originally announced in 2013, the Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer (WS) has been put on hold so many times that the public has had doubts about the vehicle ever making it into production. The Ram 1500-based Wagoneer marks a historic rebirth of the legendary nameplate of the Jeep brand. Jeep brand, moving head to head with vehicles like the GMC Yukon Denali and Lincoln Navigator. The Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer (WS) models will be produced at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant (WTAP) alongside the current Ram 1500 Classic models in late 2020. While there is a three-row Jeep vehicle that has been announced for production at the upcoming Mack Avenue Assembly Plant that FCA is currently planning on constructing out of two of their former facilities in the City of Detroit, that vehicle will be a unibody SUV about the same size as the current Dodge Durango model. This body-on-frame SUV does not have the ability to be built on the same assembly line as that vehicle. As you may remember, we broke the word that the next-generation Dodge Durango (codenamed SD) would also join the Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer on a Ram-based platform, has put on hold to allow for additional capacity at the WTAP. Durango will be in production alongside the next-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit for an additional two model years according to our sources.     Mentioned media outlet is obviously in war with FCA and is trying to discredited it. Speaking about CO2 article. The truth is that with a current average fleet weight FCA is supposed to reach 91 or 92 g/km while Dumbler is aiming at 105 g/km. I But most cars which are homologated under Euro 6d TEMP have higher weight in comparison to Euro 6b. It's clear why. Also FCA is in a trend of shifting to a heavier cars like Jeeps or new Alfas. All this will rise FCA's CO2 threshold. Certainly I would not say that FCA is late to an electrification game. Actually they are spot in and they will start production of such a models around the same time as all competitors. Primarily I'm talking about PHEV with more than 50km of electric range, some BEV models, and MHEV models. And in my opinion FCA hs chosen the right tactic with small or performance BEV models, middle to large size PHEV models. But in my opinion the most important part would be diesel engines which should be further improved and of course P2 MHEV powertrains which according to 2018 plan will be on sale in 2021. P2 MHEV could offer a substantial CO2 reduction, at least on paper. Of course some will not agree.     Tell... Why Alfa can win comparison test in US media outlets but in Germany it's placed last. It's even worse than Volvo and Jag in German comparison tests. I call it a BS. In my opinion it has more effect on perception than anything else. In AMuS they even said that Giulia has less leg room than German competition while actually it's vice versa. What can FCA do to win German comparison test?
