  1. Maybe not direct but very likely an official price will be very close to some versions of 8er Coupe. I can't see a price which is on level of future M4 Coupe. Not for a 650 HP version. Maybe if there will be a less powerful V6 as an option. @Savage Who is in thi waters from German manufacturers? Only Porsche and BMW. Or? Certainly Alfa will have a very interesting cards in play.
  2. Just IMO. This new Alfa GTV will be positioned beetwen BMW 4er and BMW 8er. And for diesels. If FCA will homologate them for Euro 6d than they will live well past 2021.
  3. They said 5 doors in Q&A session but I must rerun it to be sure.
  4. Where is a new Ghibli? AFAIK it's not in the new plan. So... Alfetta is still connected to a new Ghibli. Just as is Alfa E SUV connected to a new Grand Cherokee and a new Levante.
  5. One question. We know that E booster or e turbo is coming for at least two Alfa Romeo engines. But is it a P2 mild hybrid or not? According to plan FCA will have P2 mild hybrids from 2021.
  6. The question is how much they will spend for a Giulietta facelift. How much will they update a platform if any? First of all I would welcome a change in interior. A switch to Giulia/Stelvio inspired interior together with a switch from Johnson to Faurecia as a interior supplier. Faurecia is already making interiors for a Giulia, Stelvio, 500X, Renegade, Compass... ADAS is MUST!!! But what about new engines... Electrification would mean a lot of work on a platform. And according to plan there is no 48 Volt mild hybrid on a FWD FCA card before 2021. And when they offer it it will be a very advanced and efficient P2 mild hybrid solution. Offering an AWD would also need changes on a platform. But IMO issues on a Giulietta are also a front end design and a space for a passenger on rear bench.
  7. There is also an another form of a hybridization for a Renegade coming and it's on a slide. For an AWD model it should be a P1+P4 plug in hybrid. Starting in early 2020. IMO it's related to this project: http://www.ecochamps.eu/class-b-demonstrator-fiat-500x/
  8. According to a presentation P1F 48V mild hybrids will be only used on a RWD/AWD models. For both FWD and RWD cars a better and more efficient P2 48V mild hybrid is coming but not before 2021. P2 mild hybrid usually brings an e-turbo.
  9. For a GTV engine. Guys. Do you know that is an e boost? It's just an electric turbo. So 600+ HP will be achieved by an ICE.
  10. Look at this one: CAPEX is the largest in 2020. So most new products will come out in 2020 or a first half of 2021.
  11. Marchionne said that a Fiat 500 BEV at the start of a 2020 is crucial for a FCA's fleet CO2 compliance in the EU. Also he added that a BEV version of a 500 Giardiniera will be available in 2020. Fiat 500 BEV will have a completely different architecture compared to a regular 500. And that will be an exception in the FCA electrification plans. All other cars and models will shave an architecture or an slight adjusted architecture as a models with only a ICE.
  12. @RiRino You are right. Most likely it's cheaper to keep L derived platform in Brampton. Most likely they will receive Maserati updates including future updates for an electrification. Cost of industrialization is much smaller compared with switch to Giorgio. Also Americans want cheap American muscle cars. That's not possible with Giorgio. WK2 is on the same platform as GLE.
  13. I would prefer a name Fiat 600 and a classic B hatchback design.
  14. No Giorgio for Dodge??? https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/a21052484/sergio-marchionne-new-dodge-viper-not-in-the-plan/
  15. I would call this plan a very doable one. They didn't go to optimistic which would be in case of inclusion of E segment car and B segment SUV. But IMO, these two are connected to next generation Renegade and Maserati Ghibli. We'll see C SUV, GTV and E SUV very soon. All in the next two and a half years. IMO E SUV is related both to next Grand Cherokee, next Levante, and yet unnamed Jeep 3 row E segment SUV. The question remain about 8C. Obvious it's an evolution of a 4C. A carbon tube. I'm not happy about name. Especially if it will use a V6 engine. Maybe a 33 would be an ideal name. For long wheelbase models. They are MUST for China. They can't succeed there without them.
