There is no sense in LA unveiling. It will be in Paris because Paris and LA auto shows are close together. Even Levante which also has primarily market in US had first unveiling in Geneva and then in NY.

Highly unlikely that next gen Freemont will use RWD platform. IMO it wil be on SUSW whether it's more C or D segment crossover. For me it's also very likely that we will have two versions of it in similar fashion as new VW Tiguan. Short wheelbase 5 seats model on same version of platform as a Jeep Compass. Long wheelbase model with 5 or 7 seats, maybe same base as future Chrysler D-CUV.

Italian magazine Quattroruote, some years ago, said that new Bravo will be a crossover (this was said in 2010 I think).
Now, consider that in Eu the city-suv or crossover are trendy, is it possible that the new Freemont/Bravo will be something similar to Mercedes GLA?
This "Journey" is not a successor of the current one. It will most certain bear a different name.
Journey's position and North American market will take upcoming Chrysler brand crossover. Maybe we will see a Fiat twin.
IMO, FIAT 500X is something similar to Mercedes GLA and the people who are buying it are usually same who are buying Golf.-

Maybe there is no other vehicle on Giorgio from US part of FCA before 2020 or even 2021? In that case it's not reasonable to make Dodge D-SUV in USA which will be 2019 model year and they could be even make it from first half of 2018. That timeframe is very close to next generation Giulietta. Could this car use a space in Cassino which is now occupied by Giulietta? We are talking about car which will most probably be sold at a ~100k rate in US at best.

For future generation of what in USA are called a 'L' cars are planed twin turbo V6 engines based on current Pentastars. IMO they will use full 3.6 liters of capacities if not more to achieve goal of >500 HP. So no HEMI for them.
Those cars will be based on Giorgio
But you guys must understand that it's not important if engine is V6 or V8. What matters is engine length.Just take a look at Maserati V6 block built by Chrysler and more compact Alfa V6 block built by Mazzucconi(both have same bore dimensions):

It is important to keep in mind that this car, as Renegade and Cherooke, is principally thought for US and China markets. Today , sell numbers show that this way is the right way. In Italy we have a byword : "Squadra vincente non si cambia" ( a rough translation is "Never change a winning team" )
OK, but this segment is on rise in Europe. And every time I look at that interior I see a Hyundai and Hyundai for me means a cheap car with very cheap interior.

I'm also disappointed to see this. One guy when he saw a pictures said: "Oh, it looks more worse than Tipo's interior based on pictures".
I really don't know why they keep with this Americanization and vertical air vents. For me there is a no problem with HVAC controls but with styling, with final execution.-

Hi Guy! you put this and... is it a real p.shop? @Bare thanks for all...
Sincerely I do not know but from what I heard it contains all design elements of final product. IMO, if it's a PS than it's the closest to real thing.

No 350 HP for EU and not with RWD? It's a very strange decision.

Don't let them to mislead you. Giulia is further development of Alfa 6.

After many years of Škoda Octavia as a 1st choice there is a rumor they will opt for different option for next lease. Some were talking about Ford. But maybe FIAT overtook them all.-

Buyers of SW in US/Canada first of all are looking for a style. They do not care at all about trunk size (except Volvo buyers). For them is is a chance to have a car with attractive/sporty shape, with low center of gravity.
Do you think E63 AMG Wagon buyers need trunk size?I don't care less for US. But certainly those people are styles.

I just wanted to point out that it's not so crucial to offer a SW. For some customers sedan could be sufficient and history with 156 showed that for first 2 or 3 years sedan was saled at (exceptionally) good numbers if not excellent. For those who are seeking pure commodity Stelvio is way to go.
Give us comparison of 156 SW with Lybra SW.-

F-Pace
I agree with you that SUV is way to go. If someone wants commodity than there is no better choice than SUV.
Those who says that SW is same for driving as sedan are completely wrong. With SW they have compromised torsional rigidity and +100 kg compared to sedan and both negatively affect driving dynamics.
But regarding 156 SW. It has McPherson rear suspension which much more negatively affect luggage space than multilink. Rear McPherson consumes to much vertical space.
156 SW came late to the market and sedan had a huge sale success before that.

RDU210-eLSD is a open differential so it's not a LSD.
RDU230-LSD should be on QV and Q4 models.
RDU210/215-LSD is mechanical Q2. Wester said it's the newest generation of Torsen rear differential.

Alfa Romeo presented a summary of their 2.2 L diesel engine for the new Alfa Romeo Giulia [E. Bonamassa]. This is the first all-aluminum engine for FCA and comes in two ratings; 132 kW/450 Nm and 155 kW/470 Nm. The cast iron block engine it replaces was rated at 147 kW and 440 Nm. The aluminum block is produced with a low-pressure die-cast process developed by FCA subsidiary Teksid and yields an engine 30 kg lighter than the cast iron version. The single Honeywell VNT turbocharger is integrated into an insulated exhaust manifold, has a ball bearing cartridge, water cooled center housing and for the 155 kW engine, comes with a turbocharger speed sensor to allow maximizing boost pressure while avoiding over-speeding during transients and high altitude. A dual loop EGR system ensures sufficient EGR flow at all operating conditions. The aftertreatment system consists of a NOx adsorber and DPF. For RDE, a urea SCR catalyst will be incorporated.

For me this is a weird choice not to use a SCR on this engine. But as this engine in Giulia is homologated before September of 2017 they will not need to update it with SCR for RDE before September of 2019 unless they will bring even more powerful versions of it.
