  1. Yes, sorry, you are right. It has proportions of the car with front engine and rear wheel drive. With a space for the engine at the front (look at the distance between end of the front arch and A-pillar), position of the rear axle (no space for the engine there) and rear overhang to accommodate mufflers and diffusor. It has proportions of the the car with front central engine and rear wheel drive.
  2. Doesn't make any sense as the mok-up has a rear wheel drive proportions.
  3. At some point of time (at the early 80s if I/m not mistaken), all cars were homologated with pretty bad acceleration performances. I suspect that the cars were tested with a full load. As an example is Thema 8.32, with 1km in 30.18 sec or 2.0 Turbo in 30.075 sec.
  4. Following versions were homologated with 7 seats 834AE55C engine 8144.97 (diesel 2499, 85kW, 245Nm, 190 km/h, main gear 3.562) 834AE45C engine 8144.97 (diesel 2499, 85kW, 245Nm, 183 km/h, automatic gearbox, main gear 3.508) 834AE85C engine 8144.97 (diesel 2499, 85kW, 245Nm, 183 km/h, automatic gearbox, main gear 3.348) 834AM55C engine 8144.97S (diesel 2500, 77kW, 220Nm, 185 km/h, main gear 3.562) 834AA55C engine 834B2.000 (benzine 1995, 108kW, 181Nm, 198 km/h, main gear 3.562) 834AI55C engine 834B2.246 (benzine 1995, 104kW, 173Nm, 195 km/h, main gear 3.562) 834AA45C engine 834B2.000 (benzine 1995, 108kW, 181Nm, 190 km/h, automatic gearbox, main gear 4.201)
  5. The 7 seater was officially homologated, I can post a paperwork if you need it
  6. As I understand almost all design projects (from Cinquecento to Dialogos) in FIAT world of the 90's were managed by Ermanno Cressoni. Whatever designers made it was his decision how the product should look like. He became a director of Centro Stile FIAT in 1986, from 1990 has was a Director of Stile and Design of FIAT Auto. He directly managed Cinquecento, Croma restyling, Y10 restyling, Delta Integrale, FIAT Coupe, Alfa 145
  7. The door inserts should be made from the same material as seats. For instance if the seats cloth is made from the oceanic garbage and plastic bottles collected by drug addicted homeless, the door panels and inserts should be made from the same material. P.S. What happened with cars for everyday people with cloth from Zegna or Missoni? Even Alfa 145 and Tipo had a full leather option with door panels made from natural leather
  8. @PaoloGTC it was from the Spada book. This design was much more real than we think. I think below is a sketch from Cento Stile FIAT 1983 The Tipo 3 aerodynamic research (with Cx 0.18) was closed in 1984. It is a weird coincidence and probably the decision to close the project was connected with a transfer of all Tipo 2-3 models to I.De.A. It also explains why aerodynamic prototypes disappeared and it might be the reason for the changing of the project number from 158 to 160.
  9. Mizar is not related to Lancia and was Michelotti project., later Felber applied similar design to Beta. Also Mizar promoted Momo products https://www.speedholics.com/post/giovanni-michelotti-s-seagull-how-the-lancia-beta-1800-mizar-was-born?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1H4fJp2eos-ybdSUIU43lDxSMnIYqsCaEZLAijdssuyBMR0xtvmjvligI_aem_lQjd0dG0PgFYHmaR0hyoXg
  10. And by the way, this is their production facility in Torino. Without doors, windows and with rusted balcony guard rail https://www.google.ca/maps/@45.1018739,7.5636909,3a,45.4y,8.89h,94.16t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sG3S22c7VL4RRXTdVpkaeJA!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D-4.159963584721211%26panoid%3DG3S22c7VL4RRXTdVpkaeJA%26yaw%3D8.890252303051994!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTIxMS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D This is the link to their LinkedIn page with 3 employees, one of them is a student and another is looking for job. The COO of the company previously had a job as a construction specialist in Locarno Film Festival https://www.linkedin.com/company/officine-fioravanti-sa/people/
  11. The 25 years old CEO of the Fioravanti should learn how to drive. Probably he should take some driving courses and then participate in a few local championships, and probably try to race for 20-30 years and only then he can be allowed to participate in the conversation with creators of 8C. Who is he who suggests the shortcomings of the 8C? In my eyes he is a moron who doesn't know how to drive. Probably De Adamich can help him? Sorry but why we are listening a man who once finished 20th in one single race. Moreover, his company (with less than 9 employees and founded in 2019) does not have any connections to the famous car designer. The so called CEO just uses a name of the famous Pininfarina designer to attract attention http://www.fioravanti.it/
  12. I found the reading is entertaining. First, I was interested in the point of view of the highly educated italian about American society of the late 70s-early 80s. Second, I compared his short article with the modern reality, which made me laughed
  13. Just want to post it in a slightly better quality. As I understand the dynamic characteristics from some point have been tested at full load cars.
  14. It is year 2000, 25 years ago. Back then you even could not dream about such car and design.
  15. It is not coachbuilding, it is a separate model. Coachbuilding should propose special bodies using standard chassis. Look at Nuvola as an example or Sportiva Evoluta. For coachbuilding should be created special chassis intended only for this purpose.
  16. As I remember he promised AR customization from famous carrozzerie, something like a special coachbuilder program. Or the story with Tonale, when he complained about handling and postponed the production for 1 year of the ready model.
  17. Sometimes I wonder if I would want to work with individuals like Imparato, Tavares, or even Trump. Would I want them as colleagues, managers, or would I consider hiring them? To be honest, they would not pass an interview if I were the hiring manager. I would raise concerns with HR about their behavior, particularly their tendency to lie consistently. These are individuals I find it difficult to trust, even based solely on their appearance.
  18. Tavares basically destroyed italian automotive engineering. Or am I wrong? I don not want to buy any new italian car model anymore, because all of them are french And italian car manufacturing is in the collapse mode now.
  19. Eventually this idiot is out of the game. I hope that clown lmparato will leave as well as a rat from the sinking ship
  20. I would be interested to see a design of Pontiac or Oldsmobile coupe based on the 164.
  21. It has so many unnecessary lines! It's heavy with the details that this car does not need. Instead of lightness it exposes heaviness. It looks like a 57 years old pornostar.
  22. It looks to me that VW sold the right to use Audi name to the Chinese manufacturer. Something similar to the retail market, when Benetton, Nautica, Reebok, Ralph Lauren, Polo, Eddie Bauer, etc. give the right to use their brand to some chinese manufacturers and sell the product in retail stores as Walmart or Costco.
  23. @PaoloGTC if i'm not mistaken, it is a 118 (future Alfa 6)
