According to Mopar Insiders, there won't be any 6-cylinder engine for the GC. Also, they confirm that the US-spec Compass will launch as ICE. It could be a non-hybrid version of the 1.6 that could also be available in markets like Africa, South America and Middle East (according to a Clubalfa article). As for the Wagoneer S and Recon, I'm not so sure: how different will a HEV Wagoneer S be compared to Cherokee? What I am sure, is that now we can forget any PHEV Alfa Romeo and Maserati models

The earliest that a full-hybrid would be launched by Stellantis is around early 2028. And you won't be able to sell that engine post-2030 because of regs. It would be madness to develop it. If they could have it ready right now (or even better a few years ago, like Renault) it would make sense

About a week ago, there was an article in Clubalfa which said that Filosa is about to give the green light in 2 all-new Jeep models that will be made in Tychy and will be based on STLA Small, with production start scheduled for 2030 and 2031 respectively. The first one should be the New Renegade and the second one the New Avenger. I didn't post it because ... it was Clubalfa. But it could be real

If it gets greenlit, its production could start already by the end of 2026 in Zaragoza.

Regarding this: I just noticed at the announcement of the investment on the US plants that it says "U.S. production will expand 50% with 5 new vehicle launches and 19 product actions over the next four years". Given that the 5 new launches are probably the ones announced (New Cherokee, New Compass, mid-size truck, full-size SUV, New Durango), this means that the launches which are scheduled for those plants and were not announced (New Wrangler, New Grand cherokee, E-jet) are probably delayed at least to 2030

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that those rumors existed. And that I think the most probable scenario for that model is to be a Dodge. Having two BOF Jeep SUVs is too much, and Dodge can't stay with just 2 models in its lineup for a long time. RAM will get a white-space model anyway. They might decided to bring Stealth back in order to invest also in Dodge
