According to L'Argus, Filosa has put the No3 and next-gen No4 on hold. The brand is not under danger, and it will not return to Citroen. Common consensus among the 296 Speciale media drives is that the car is good, but too civilised to be the ultimate mid-engined rear-wheel-drive sportscar. If it gets greenlit, its production could start already by the end of 2026 in Zaragoza.

Regarding this: I just noticed at the announcement of the investment on the US plants that it says "U.S. production will expand 50% with 5 new vehicle launches and 19 product actions over the next four years". Given that the 5 new launches are probably the ones announced (New Cherokee, New Compass, mid-size truck, full-size SUV, New Durango), this means that the launches which are scheduled for those plants and were not announced (New Wrangler, New Grand cherokee, E-jet) are probably delayed at least to 2030

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that those rumors existed. And that I think the most probable scenario for that model is to be a Dodge. Having two BOF Jeep SUVs is too much, and Dodge can't stay with just 2 models in its lineup for a long time. RAM will get a white-space model anyway. They might decided to bring Stealth back in order to invest also in Dodge

My own impression is also that the V6 ICE and the manual gearbox will not meet each other in one model. The manual gearbox will probably be found only in the SP4 which I believe will be a V8 ICE based on the 849 Testarossa. As for the V6 ICE, I struggle to see how it could be priced higher than the 296 GTB, if it's not a limited production car. Yes it might be track-focused, it might have a huge wing and stuff, but having 100cv less is a lot

According to the famous now day355, Ferrari is preparing for 2026 a "beautiful surprise", a model that will be "Normal range, not icona, in development. A toy." What comes in my mind is the axed STO rival. If this is correct, I wouldn't be surprised if the F40 Icona gets postponed for 2027. Launching 2 ICE purist cars in the same year might be too much
