    Turns out the recreational and commercial vehicle show in Dusseldorf, Germany has attracted more concepts than the just the Fiat Portofino. Volkswagen showed up with the Caddy Topos Sail concept, another nautical-themed vehicle that brings the boat life to land locked lovers of the water. Based on the Caddy MPV, the Topos Sail concept's biggest attraction is its roof, which is covered in wood decking and surrounded on all sides by aluminum roof rails. The roof deck is designed for lounging in the sun just like on the deck of a yacht, and the panels flip up to act as back rests. The concept also features a nifty ladder built into the rear lift gate with wooden steps, as well as wood trim elsewhere on the vehicle's exterior.     Anche se derivata dalla SM5..a sua volta derivata dalla Teana...ha ancora una bella linea commerciabile. Cmq di francese quest'auto non trasmette proprio un bel niente. In tempi di gigantismo dei loghi.... Mi domando se la losanga cosi' minuscola l'abbiano presa dai fondi di magazzino reciclando quelli della super5 degli anni 80.

    Mazda's CX-9, the company's largest vehicle originally designed for the US-market, is coming to Europe following its good reception State-side. Already launched in North America last year, the CX-9 will offer all European customers room for six passengers and a 3.7-litre V6 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The new Mazda SUV will aim to provide a touch of sportiness thanks to design items like a roof spoiler, trapezoidal exhaust pipes and 20-inch alloy wheels. New owners can opt for wood-like trim in the cabin as well as choose between two interior colour packages: black or sand; all models will feature leather seats. Other standard niceties include privacy glass, electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, three-zone climate control, a 10-speaker audio system with surround sound and keyless entry and start. Mazda is also banking on the CX-9's safety credentials to boost sales in Europe. The SUV boasts large disc brakes coupled with roll stability control, ABS, emergency brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution and DSC to help keep occupants out of trouble. It received five stars on frontal and side impact crash testing from the US government's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), although these tests aren't regarded to be as stringent as European NCAP evaluations. At this stage there are no plans to sell the CX-9 in Britain or Ireland.

    The sleek, roomy SUV is the first Mazda to feature a three row bench and has enough space to comfortably seat six.     The Caravan Salon due to be held in Dusseldorf from 29 August to 7 September has been a leading date in the recreational vehicle show calendar for many years. Fiat Professional plans to mark the event by introducing the original ‘Portofino’ show van based on the innovative Fiorino, the smallest model in the range. The new ‘Portofino’ show van, an original and explicit hymn to freedom of movement, came about in a manner very typical of the Camper sector: i.e. partly through the initiative of Vernagallo-Holiday, a conversion company that specialises in small recreational vehicles – and partly through a joint venture with SALT, a body builder that specialises in the tuning and preparation of special and exclusive vehicles. The ‘Portofino’ is a contemporary twist on the legendary beach buggy, the open-topped cars that were built onto some small Fiat models by a few imaginative Italian bodybuilders in the 1960s. At this particular point in the past, cars were not seen as badges of wealth - and luxury was a lifestyle.     Non e' dato sapersi se sono disegni ufficiali(visto che trattasi di Lada potrebbe anche essere..) Interia.Pl la da' x certa al prox Salone di Mosca. Non si capisce esattamente che roba sia....ma spero solo che la versione reale sia meglio di questo sgorbio di disegno.
